But in the end, you have to be your own HERO, because everyone is busy saving themselves.
Bismillah-ir Rahman-ir Rahim
In a hadith from Imam Ali peace be with him to his close companion, Kumayl bin Ziyad, the Imam explains why he believes knowledge is better than wealth; he states that "knowledge protects you while you have to protect your wealth".
In the day and age we live in, we are first handedly experiencing an intellectual onslaught on Islam. Today our youth, and even older generations, are faced with great challenges that sometimes bring about major doubt regarding different aspects of religion and God; doubts that slowly erode one’s faith and negatively impact one’s religious devotion. The days where people lived in isolation and didn’t have to worry about addressing what was happening outside are long over. Due to communications, the world has virtually transformed into a small village in which people are connected to one another whether they like it or not.
In the past, it wasn’t too hard to dismiss such intellectual and academic challenges; just the fact that you were born and raised in a certain culture was enough to ignore it all. But now times have changed and something is needed to protect us from these dangers; culture and emotions aren’t enough anymore. We are witnessing more and more questions being raised by our fellow Muslims and how in some cases, these lead to them denouncing their religion, denomination (Shiism), or at the very least, becoming much weaker in their faith. As a matter of fact, this might be what is meant by the famous hadith that discloses to us how in the end of times, preserving one’s faith will be harder than holding on to hot coal; that in the end of times, there will be so many challenges and doubts that one will find it hard to hold on to their faith.
Therefore, we are in need of something to protect us from all of the above, and as the hadith of Imam Ali peace be with him to Kumayl clearly tells us, what protects us is knowledge. It is only with knowledge that such challenges can be countered. It is only with sufficient knowledge that one can fight against intellectual arguments and point out their fallacies. It is only with such that one can reconcile between seemingly conflicting tenants of religion and prove the absence of any discrepancies.

Supporting the downtrodden
During the absence of Imam Al-Mahdi (aj.), we must stand up for those being tyrannized and oppressed, and those whose rights are being seized away.
It does not matter whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims. It goes without saying that we must stand up against atheism; however, if atheists were being oppressed, then it is our mission to restore their rights back.
Some Hadiths mentioned by the Household Members (a.s.) relate that: “Allah, the Most Exalted, enjoined one of His prophets living in a country under the rule of a tyrant: ‘go to this tyrant and tell him that I did not make use of you to shed the blood of the people and gather wealth, but rather to soothe the cries of the wronged, because you should not neglect their plight even if they were disbelievers.’” Allah does not want to wrong the unbelievers, just as he does not want us to wrong the Muslims.
He wants us to give every human his rights, whether close or not, and whether weak or strong, and this is the true meaning of justice.
In conclusion, it is our mission to stand up for the oppressed against the oppressor, be he a Muslim or a non-Muslim. To oppress is to exercise an authority in an unjust manner, which is definitely rejected by Allah: “That future abode, We assign it to those who have no desire to exalt themselves in the earth nor to make mischief and the good end is for those who guard against evil.” (12:83).

The Ultimate Truth
A young curious seeker was bothered by a question: "what is the ultimate truth?" He wandered the city asking this question until finally someone told him to see the Wiseman living in the rural region.
The young man entered the hut of the sage, whereat he asked his question. The sage said let me pour you some tea... As he did, he overfilled it and continued pouring despite the cup being full.
The young man exclaimed: "it's full!"
Whereat the Wiseman replied, "the ultimate truth to life is that you should not stop seeking. Be like the cup which is always receptive to knowledge and wisdom".

Question 704. Can we argue that hijab (Islamic dress code of modesty especially for women) is obligatory based on the verse of hijab (veil, curtain): and when you ask anything of (his) womenfolk, ask it from them from behind a curtain. That is more chaste for your hearts and their hearts (33:53)?
Answer: This verse’s expression does not convey obligation. Rather it refers to the benefit and wisdom in hijab. It is similar in this sense to an expression about fasting: And to fast is better for you (2:184).
Question 705. Can we argue that hijab is obligatory based on this verse: O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the faithful to draw closely over themselves their veils (jalabib) when going out). That makes it likely for them to be recognized and not be troubled (33:59)?
Answer: Jalabib is the plural form of jilbab which indicates some piece of fabric, like chador, which thoroughly covers a woman's body. To draw closely over themselves their veils implies that they are supposed to cover themselves with their chadors so that their womanly charms, like their breasts, would not be noticeable. Otherwise the delinquent oglers may take advantage of their appearance and harass them.
Question 706. Given your answers above, is there any verse in the Qur'an which indicates that hijab is obligatory?
Answer: Here are the Qur'anic verses about hijab And they Muslim women should not display their charms (24:31). "Their charms" implies attractive physical parts. This verse is saying that Muslim women are supposed to cover their charms and abstain from displaying them.
Tell the faithful men to cast down their looks and to guard their private parts (24:30). This verse bids Muslim men to abstain from looking at what is unlawful, like the uncovered bodies of unrelated men and women, and to cover their private parts.
And tell the faithful women to cast down their looks and to guard their private parts (24:31). Imam al-Sadiq said, "All Qur'anic verses regarding guarding private parts imply adultery, except these verses (24:30-31), which are about looking." In other words, whenever the Qur'an makes mention of "guarding private parts" it means guarding them of adultery, except for the verse in question, which implies guarding private parts from being unlawfully looked at.
Question 707. What is your opinion about hijab (Islamic dress code of modesty)?
Answer: Apparently what is intended is to be covered (satr).

Question 708. Is covering intended in and of itself, or is it intended as a means of preventing the excite ment of lusts, the ogling of wicked men, and the look of unrelated men at the beauties and charms of women?
Answer: Covering is intended in and of itself. It is obligatory for Muslim women to be covered when they leave their homes. It's not merely intended as a means of preventing the stimulation of lusts, ogling, and the looks of unrelated men.
Question 709. Is the Islamic law of hijab maintained by wearing close-fitting dresses that completely cover the body and are not sheer?
Answer: Dresses which delineate the body better and add to one's beauty are not considered as Islamic covering and do not fulfill the Islamic law of hijab. According to Islamic law, if the shape of a woman's body is visible in a dress, it's not considered an acceptable covering.
Question 710. If women use such close-fitting clothes to cover their physical parts where they wear their adornments (zinah, lit. place of beauty), does it fulfill the verse: They Muslim women should not display their charms (24:31)?
Answer: "A fair face needs no paint." It's not about adornment. The woman's body is itself an adornment (lit. place of beauty). What the verse means is that Muslim women should not exhibit their beauty. Accordingly, wearing such close-fitting clothes-which make a display of charms and
stimulates lustful desires even further-is not regarded as Islamic covering and hijab.
Question 711. Is there something unique with chador (the veil) in fulfilling the law of hijab (Islamic dress code of modesty)?
Answer: What is meant by hijab is that women should not display the beauties and charms of their creation. There's nothing special with wearing the chador; what matters is covering.
Question 712. When you say, “There's nothing special with wearing the chador," could we say that covering is not meant per se, but it is meant as a means to prevent the excitement of lusts in men? We can support this by the fact that hijab is not obligatory for old women, exactly because they don't arouse such desires.
Answer: It's true that hijab is not obligatory for them. However, the stimulation of lusts is not the reason ('illah) for the legislation of this rule. Rather, it is one of the results or wisdoms (sing. hikmah) of this law.

📍Why We Live...
💠The Qur'an states: "He who created death and life that He may test you [to see] which of you is best in conduct" (67:2).
💠Ayatollah Mutahhari explains this: "It should be noted that the Divine 'test' is really to actualize potentials and abilities. The actualization of a potential is to develop and perfect it. This test is not designed to discover the secret of beings (by the 'tester' [God]), rather it is to actualize their hidden potentials. So in this case, 'disclosure' is an act of creation and the Divine test 'reveals' the human traits from the hidden phase of potential and capability to the external and concrete phase of actualization and perfection. The Divine test is not there to asses weight, rather it is there to increase the mass. With this elaboration it becomes clear that the above mentioned verse (67:2) reflects this truth that the world is a place for training and perfecting human potentials.
📍Why do we die?
💠Rumi narrates the following story...
💠Moses asked God, "why did you create form and bless it with your spirit and then only to ruin it"?
💠God responded, "I know you (ask) to discover in My actions the wisdom and hidden meaning of (phenomenal) duration...
💠O Moses, sow some seed in the earth, that thou thyself may render justice (to this question)".
💠When Moses had sown and the seed-corn was complete (in growth) and it's ears had gained beauty and symmetry, He (Moses) took the sickle and was cutting that (crop); then a voice from the Unseen reached his ear, saying: 'why do you sow and tend some seed-corn and now are cutting it when it has attained perfection'?
💠Moses replied, "O Lord, I destroy and lay it low because the straw is here and also grain. The grain is not suitable to be stored in the straw-barn; the straw likewise is bad for putting in the corn-barn".
💠...it is necessary to make manifest (the difference between) this good and evil, just as it is necessary to make manifest (distinguish) the wheat from the straw".

Not easy question, have a look to this article, it is helpful.
http://www.researchdirectorate.org.uk/merg/documents/Experimental%20Studies.pdf
The topic itself is stated as a question!
In addition, it's very broad and may yield research questions in various directions!
I would personally prefer to limit the scope of the topic first, then propose several fundamental questions to choose from!
Best wishes
