🔰The reality of the "Shi'a"🔰
✔The hadith is number 34 of the book "Sifat ush-Shi'a" which directly and without any formalities explains the essence of a "Shi'a". The book is compiled by Shaykh Sadooq (may Gods mercy be with him), who was amongst the greatest foundational scholars in the preservation of the pristine path of Islam after the occultation of Imam Mahdi, may God hasten his reappearance.
📍From the Hadith we learn that 'detestation' does not manifest from the heart of a believer into the corporeal world where it would harm others. Anger is restrained and hatred is shackled. Thus a "Mu'min" is he who's shadow is a shield for others.
📍The "Shi'a" do not easily ask others for favors unless it is their own intimate brethren and companions. Thus highlighting that the "Shi'a" are those who are a band of firm brothers.
📍The "Shi'a" do not bark or speak loudly and or disrespectfully like animals towards others, weather they be arguing or wailing. Weather they be friends, or foes. Hence, they are calm and firm on the path of righteousness and nobility.
📍They do not run after pennies of wealth, nor do they have the desire to as well. Thus, they do not sell their moral values for the cheap offers of "Dunya".
📍The lives of the "Shi'a" are simple, their homes do not exceed extravagance, and they will move or relocate without any resistance if it means to maintain their position on the path of "truth". Hence, they are constantly adhered to the values of truth.
📍Whether rich or poor, they always have a fixed share of their wealth for giving to others. They care and share of the bounties that God has blessed them. Thus, they are generous.
📍The "Shi'a" are intimate and interconnected with each other, and when they pass away, will visit each other and enjoy the others presence in the graves. Thus, it illustrates the elevated rank and station of a "Shi'a" even after life in this world.
📍When asked, where are these people?
📍Imam Sadiq, peace be with him, replies: "You will find them living in the outskirts and among the marts. They are the intendeds in Allah’s saying: 'They are humble towards the believers and dignified to the unbelievers' (5:54)".
🌺May God guide all of us to the path of true values and station us on the ark of salvation in this world and the next.

According to the Holy Qur'an, there is no death for wrongdoers in the hereafter and even when their skin is burnt a new one will be replaced so the punishment of the hereafter is always experienced
as a fresh one! Chapter 4 Verse 56 reads:
Surely those who disbelieved in Our
Signs and Miracles, We shall cast them
into the Fire. As often as their skins
are roasted wholly, we shall change
them for other skins that they may
taste the punishment. Verily, Allah is
the Invincible-Mighty, Wise.
Thus, when compared to the chastisement of the doomsday, worldly pains can be regarded as nothing. It has been recorded in history that during the caliphate of Imam Ali (A), when his blind brother 'Aqil asked him to grant him an additional portion of public treasury due to his severe poverty, the Holy Imam (A) brought a hot piece of metal near ‘Aqil. Feeling the hotness of it, 'Aqil protested: "Are you going to burn me?" "No!" Imam replied. "You cried because of a metal made hot by a human being for fun. Then, how do you expect me not to cry for the fire prepared by Allah (SWT) due to His anger?"
Beside reminding us of the hereafter, the thirst and hunger during the month of Ramadan reminds those who fast of poor people experiencing the same feelings during whole days of their life and encourages those who fast to spend some portion of their properties in the way of Allah (SWT) and for the sake of needy people.
Some narrations regarding fasting
The Holy Prophet of Islam (S) is quoted as saying:
Verily Allah (SWT) has appointed some
angels only in order to pray for the
people who fast. Gabriel has informed
me that Allah (SWT) has said: "I have
not commanded my angels to pray for
one of my creatures, unless I have
accepted their prayers for him."10
The sixth Holy Imam, Imam Sadiq (A) has stated:
When a person fasts on a hot day
for the sake of Allah and becomes
thirsty, Allah SWT sends 1000
angels to touch his/her face and
give him/her glad tidings up to the
time of breaking the fast when
Allah (SWT) tells him/her: "How
nice you smell! What a pleasant
soul you possess! Oh my angels!
Bear witness that I have forgiven
him/her."11
Based on narrations like this, everything that seems bad in this world is not necessarily the same in the hereafter and vice versa. Therefore, although the person who fasts his mouth may smell bad in this world, he has a pleasant odour for Allah (SWT) and the residents of heaven. On the other hand, a woman smelling nicely for non-mahram men will not be the same in the world to come. Thus, realities are not necessarily what appear to us in this world.
According to a very famous tradition narrated by both Sunni and Shi'ite scholars, the Holy Prophet said:
Allah (SWT) said: "fasting is for me
and I am the one who rewards for
it”.12
The history of Ashoura:
We remember Ashoura to live the circumstances of this occasion - on which hundreds of years have passed but still beats with spiritual meanings. When we remember the figures of Ashoura, we feel that each and every personality is a spirit by itself, one that flies and ascends above and transforms the body to a spiritual beat, joining between the intellect and the emotions and between the matter and the spirit.
Therefore, we look at Ashoura based on the spiritual values and the movement whose leaders and faithful masses are open to righteousness, instead of viewing it as a tragedy. It is a movement that has two open eyes looking at the nation and the world, and staring at the Islamic and humanitarian march as a whole.
Even when we discuss Ashoura in terms of the Imamate, we do not mean to give it a sectarian aspect, but it rather gives it a spiritual framework that is open to mankind and Islam as a whole.
From Ashoura, we enrich ourselves with its various dimensions and meanings. Our problem is that we gave Ashoura sectarian meanings and locked it in the prison of our creeds and backwardness and customs which lack any cause, because we did not see the cause Al-Husein peace be with him represents, but the person who is filled with wounds, the one who experienced thirst and the tragedy of his sons and relatives.
We looked at Al-Husein peace be with him as the person, not the mission and the cause. So we abandoned the mission and did not find Al-Husein peace be with him and we will never find him if he does not represent to us a mission, freedom, glory, dignity and an entity that represents mankind and Islam. This is the real essence of Ashoura.
But we limited the Karbala (tragic) character to the extent that our tears have become cold. Only those who consider the freedom, resistance, opposition, and challenge shed warm tears when they think of the tragedy.
The issue of Ashoura through the slogans raised by Imam Al-Husein peace be with him is a humanitarian issue. Imam Al-Husein peace be with him used to look at the human being, go into his inner feelings and concerns about his humanity from those who crush the human character of the people. What did he say when he described the rulers of Bani Umayah? He said: "They took the money of Allah as theirs, and regarded His people as their slaves." He is saying that the public money which organizes the people's lives is the money that belongs to God: "And give them of the wealth of Allah which He has given you." (24:33). This money should be spent in what pleases God, and in order for the people to live in dignity and glory. But this money became the money of the prince and his entourage. In our times, the money of the nation, particularly the oil, has become the money of a certain family and a certain king and sultan and those who kiss the feet of the sultan.
Many of those who talk about the nation and Islam glorify these kings and families. They actually worship the family and its head, and then they talk to you about the belief in one God, and then hold other people as infidels through some jurisprudences, but they worship those who have money: "They took the money of Allah for themselves and enslaved His people."
The contemporary pledge and the historical pledge
During Al-Hurra battle, we saw that Yazid asked his Wali who triumphed over the people of Al-Madina to ask for their pledge in their capacity as slaves for Yazid. They used to enslave the people by the power of money and sword. If we look at history books, we see that when the pledge was obtained for Yazid, a man who has a sword in one hand, and money in the other hand, said: Who gives the pledge to Yazid will get the money, and who doesn't will get this sword. After that, Yazid was the "Commander of the Faithful."
Today, we are witnessing a contemporary kind of the pledge, one that rests on money. For example, people gave their pledge to President George Bush and today they are giving the pledge to the European Union and many Arab figures, for various considerations and ambitions.
🌴Prophet Mohammad peace be with him said:
🌺"Eight groups of people are the most hateful and disgusting to Allah in the hereafter:
1- Liars
2- The proud ones who think they're better than others
3- Those who hold enmity of their brethren’s but when meeting with them pretend to love them.
4- Those when they are offered towards Allah or to his apostles move to them slowly but when they have offer from devil run towards him.
5- Those who when invited towards worldly greediness, swear to have it and to get it even if they have no right to have it.
6- Backbiters
7- Those who tear friends apart
8- Those who oppress the sinless and helpless.

Letter of Imam Ali to Malik-e Ashtar
(Part Seven)
The ruler cannot acquit himself of the obligations laid on him by Allah in this matter except by striving and seeking help from Allah, by training himself to adhere to righteousness and by enduring on that account all that is light or hard.
1. The Army
🍁Put in command of your forces the man who in your view is the best well-wisher of Allah, His Prophet and your Imam. The most chaste of them in heart and the highest of them in endurance is one who is slow in getting angry, who accepts excuses, who is kind to the weak and is strict with the strong; violence should not raise his temper and weakness should not keep him sitting.
🍁Also associate with considerate people from high families, virtuous houses and decent traditions, then people of courage, valor, generosity and benevolence because they are repositories of honor and springs of virtues. Strive for their matters as the parents strive for their child.
🍁Do not regard anything that you do to strengthen them as big nor anything that you have agreed to do for them as little, even though it may be small because this would make them your well-wishers and create a good impression about you.
🍁Do not neglect to attend to their small matters. Confine yourself to their important matters because your small favors will also be of benefit to them while the important ones are such that they cannot ignore.
🍁That commander of the army should have such a status before you that he renders help to them equitably and spends from his money on them and on those of their families who remain behind so that all their worries converge on the one worry to fight the enemy.

PROPHET'S HISTORIC GHADIR SERMON
Part lll
I asked Gabriel to plead to the Peace to excuse me from having to convey such a message to you, O 1 Fixed verses are those which are never abrogated; the injunction(s) they contain remain valid forever.
people, due to my knowledge that the pious are few1 while the hypocrites are many, and due to those who will blame me, and due to the trickery of those who ridicule Islam and whom Allah described in His Book as saying with their tongues contrarily to what their hearts conceal, thinking lightly of it, while it is with Allah magnanimous, and due to the abundance of their harm to me, so much so that they called me "ears" and claimed that I am so because of being so much in his (Ali's) company, always welcoming him, loving him and being so much pleased with him till Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime One, revealed in this regard the verse saying: " And there are some of them who harm the (feelings of the) Prophet and say: He is an ear (uthun; i.e. he always listens to' Ali).
1 The pious are always few in any age or time, creed or faith or clime,in any place, in every space. As many as 72 verses in the Holy Qur'an condemnthe majority, praising the minority, underscoring what mankind knew, that thepious are always few. Indeed, the Prophet's statement is quite weighty, wise, terse, and not hasty. Nowadays, only a few pious ones remember this historic sermon and try their best to keep its memory alive. Yes; it is true, the pious are always few ...
Say: One who listens (to' Ali) is good for you; He believes in Allah and testifies to the conviction of the believers and a mercy for those of you who believe; and those who (thus ) harm the Messenger of Allah shall have a painful punishment" (Qur'an, 9:61). Had I wished to name those who have called me so, I would have called them by their names, and I would have pointed them out. I would have singled them out and called them by what they really are, but I, by Allah, am fully aware of their affairs. Yet despite all of that, Allah insisted that I should convey what He has just revealed to me in honor of' Ali. Then the Prophet recited the following verse:)
O Messenger! Convey what has (just) been revealed to you (with regard to 'Ali), and if you do not do so, you will not have conveyed His Message at all, and Allah shall protect you from (evil) people. (Qur'an, 5:67)
O people! Comprehend (the implications of) what I have just said, and again do comprehend it, and be (further) informed that Allah has installed him (' Ali) as your Master and Imam, obligating the Muhajirun and the Ansar and those who follow them in goodness to obey him, and so must everyone who lives in the desert or in the city, who is a non-Arab or an Arab, who is a free man or a slave, who is young or old, white or black, and so should everyone who believes in His Unity. His decree shall be carried out. His (' Ali's) word is binding; his command is obligating; cursed is whoever opposes him, blessed with mercy is whoever follows him and believes in him, for Allah has already forgiven him and forgiven whoever listens to him and obeys him.
O people! This is the last stand I make in such a situation; so, listen and obey, and submit to the Command of Allah, your Lord, for Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime One, is your Master and Lord, then next to Him is His Messenger and Prophet who is now addressing you, then after me 'Ali is your Master and Imam according to the Command of Allah, your Lord, then the lmams from among my progeny, his offspring, till the Day you meet Allah and His Messenger.
Nothing is permissible except what is deemed so by Allah, His Messenger, and they (the Imams), and nothing is prohibitive except what is deemed so by Allah and His Messenger and they (the Imams). Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime One, has made me acquainted with what is permissible and what is prohibitive, and I have conveyed to you what my Lord has taught me of His Book, of what it decrees as permissible or as prohibitive.

PROPHET'S HISTORIC GHADIR SERMON
Part Vll
O people! " Fear Allah as He ought to be feared, and do not die except as Muslims" (Qur'an, 3:102). O people! " ...Believe in what We have revealed, verifying what you have, before We alter faces then turn them on their backs or curse them as We cursed the violators of the Sabbath" (Qur'an, 4:47). By Allah! Redid not imply anyone in this verse except a certain band of my sahaba whom I know by name and by lineage, and I have been ordered (by my Lord) to pardon them; so, let each person deal with ' Ali according to what he finds in his heart of love or of hatred.
O people! The noor from Allah, the Exalted One and the Sublime, flows through me then through ‘Ali ibn Abu Talib then in the progeny that descends from him till al-Qa'imal-Mehdi, who shall effect the justice of Allah, and who will take back any right belonging to us because Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, made us Hujjat over those who take us lightly, the stubborn ones, those who act contrarily to our word, who are treacherous, who are sinners, who are oppressors, who are usurpers, from the entire world.
O people! I warn you that I am the Messenger of Allah; messengers before me have already passed away; so, should I die or should I be killed, are you going to turn upon your heels? And whoever turns upon his heels shall not harm Allah in the least, and Allah shall reward those who are grateful, those who persevere. 'Ali is surely the one described with perseverance and gratitude, then after him are my offspring from his loins.
O people! Do not think that you are doing me a favour by your accepting Islam. Nay! Do not think that you are doing Allah such a favour lest He should void your deeds, lest His wrath should descend upon you, lest He should try you with a flame of fire and brass; surely your Lord is ever-watchful.
O people! There shall be Imams after me who shall invite people to the fire, and they shall not be helped on the Day of Judgment.
O people! Allah and I are both clear of them.
O people! They and their supporters and followers shall be in the lowest rung of the fire; miserable, indeed, is the resort of the arrogant ones. Indeed, these are the folks of the sahifa; so, let each one of you look into his sahifa!
This reference to the sahifa has been overlooked by most people with the exception of a small band and we will Insha-Allah shed a light on this sahifa later on.

PROPHET'S HISTORIC GHADIR SERMON
PART Vlll
The Prophet continued his historic sermon thus: O people! I am calling for it to be an Imamate and a succession confined to my offspring till the Day of Judgment, and I have conveyed only what I have been commanded (by my Lord) to convey to drive the argument home against everyone present or absent and on everyone who has witnessed or who has not, who is already born or he is yet to be born; therefore, let those present here convey it to those who are absent, and let the father convey it to his son, and so on till the Day of Judgment.
And they shall make the Imamate after me a property, a usurpation; may Allah curse the usurpers who usurp1, and it is then that you, O jinns and mankind, will get the full attention of the One Who shall cause a flame of fire and brass to be hurled upon you, and you shall not achieve any victory!
O people! Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, is not to let you be whatever you want to be except so that He may distinguish the bad ones from among you from the good, and Allah is not to make you acquainted with the unknown.
O people! There shall be no town that falsifies except that Allah shall annihilate it on account of its falsehood before the Day of Judgment, and He shall give al-lmam al-Mehdi (U authority over it, and surely Allah's promise is true.
1 This is surely a Prophetic prediction that' Ali's right to the caliphate would be usurped. The usurpers were the very first to swear the oath of allegiance to Ameerul-Mo'mineen ' Ali and the very first to violate it.
O people! Most of the early generations before you have strayed, and by Allah, He surely annihilated the early generations, and He shall annihilate the later ones. Allah Almighty has said, "Did We not destroy the former generations? Then did We follow them up with later ones. Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. Woe on that Day to the rejecters!" (Qur'an, 77: 16-19).
O people! Allah has ordered me to do and not to do, and I have ordered 'Ali to do and not to do, so he learned what should be done and what should not; therefore. you should listen to his orders so that you may be safe, and you should obey him so that you may be rightly guided. Do not do what he forbids you from doing so that you may acquire wisdom. Agree with him, and do not let your paths be different from his.
O people! I am al-Sirat al-Mustaqeem (the Straight Path) of Allah whom He commanded you to follow, and it is after me 'Ali then my offspring from his loins, the Imams of Guidance: they guide to the truth and act accordingly.
Then the Prophet recited the entire text of Surat al-Fatiha and commented by saying: It is in my honor that this (Sura) was revealed, including them (the Imams) specifically; they are the friends of Allah for whom there shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve; truly the Party of Allah are the winners. Indeed, it is their enemies who are the impudent ones, the deviators, the brethren of Satan; they inspire each other with embellished speech out of their haughtiness.

PROPHET'S HISTORIC GHADIR SERMON
Part IX
Indeed, their (Imams') friends are the ones whom Allah, the Exalted One, the Great, mentions in His Book saying, "You shall not find a people who believe in Allah and in the latter Day befriending those who act in opposition to Allah and to His Prophet, even though they may be their own fathers or sons or brothers or kinsfolk; these are they into whose hearts He has impressed conviction" (Qur'an, 58:22). Indeed, their (Imams') friends are the mu'mins (believers) whom Allah, the Exalted One, the Sublime, describes as: "Those who believe and do not mix up their faith with iniquity, those are the ones who shall have the security, and they are the rightly guided" (Qur'an, 6:82).
Indeed, their friends are those who believed and never doubted. Indeed, their friends are the ones who shall enter Paradise in peace and security; the angels shall receive them with welcome saying, "Peace be upon you! Enter it and reside in it forever!"
Indeed, their friends shall be rewarded with Paradise where they shall be sustained without having to account for anything.
Indeed, their enemies are the ones who shall be hurled into the fire.
Indeed, their enemies are the ones who shall hear the exhalation of hell as it increases in intensity, and they shall see it sigh.
Indeed, their enemies are the ones thus described by Allah: "Whenever a nation enters, it shall curse its sister..." (Qur'an, 7:38).
Indeed, their enemies are the ones whom Allah, the Exalted One and the Sublime, describes thus: "Whenever a group is cast into it, its keepers shall ask them: Did any warner not come to you? They shall say: Yea! Indeed, there came to us a warner but we rejected (him) and said: Allah has not revealed anything; you are only in a great error. And they shall say: Had we but listened or pondered, we would not have been among the inmates of the burning fire. So they shall acknowledge their sins, but far will be forgiveness) from the inmates of the burning fire" (Qur'an, 67:8-11).
Indeed, their friends are the ones who fear their Lord in the unseen; forgiveness shall be theirs and a great reward.
O people! What a difference it is between the fire and the great reward! .
O people! Our enemy is the one whom Allah censures and curses, whereas our friend is everyone praised and loved by Allah.
O people! I am the Warner (nathir) and' Ali is the one who brings glad tidings (bashir).
O people! I am the one who warns (munthir) while 'Ali is the guide (hadi).
O people! I am a Prophet (nabi) and' Ali is the successor (wasi).
O people! I am a Messenger (rasul) and' Ali is the Imam and the Wasi after me, and so are the Imams after him from among his offspring. Indeed, I am their father, and they shall descend from his loins.
Indeed, the seal of the lmams from among us is al-Qa'im al-Mehdi. He, indeed, is the one who shall come out so that the creed may prevail. He, indeed, is the one who shall seek revenge against the oppressor. He, indeed, is the one who conquers the forts and demolishes them. He, indeed, is the one who subdues every tribe from among the people of polytheism and the one to guide it.

Nahju-l Balāghah. Letter No 27
Given to Muhammad Ibn Abu Bakr (May Allah Be Pleased with Him), When Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib (peace be with them) Appointed Him as Governor of Egypt:
Deal humbly with the public. Remain lenient. Meet them large-heartedly, accord them equal treatment so that the mighty should not expect injustice from you in their favor and the lowly should not be despondent of your justice.
Allah, the Sublime, will certainly question you, O community of His creatures, about your actions, small or big, open or concealed. If He punishes you, it is because you have been oppressive, and if He forgives you, then it is because He is the most Generous.
Be informed, O servants of Allah, that the God-fearing share the joys of this transient world as well as those of the next, for they share with the people of this world in their worldly matters while their people did not share with them in the matters of the next.
They lived in this world in the best manner of living. They ate the choicest food and enjoyed herein all that the people with ease of life enjoyed. They secured from it what the haughty and the vain secured. Then they departed from it after taking provision enough to take them to the end of their journey, having contracted a profitable transaction.
They tasted the pleasure of renouncing the life in this world, firmly believing that on the Coming Day, they will be neighbors of Allah, where their call will not be repulsed, nor will their share of pleasure be small.
O servants of Allah! Fear death and its measures, and prepare all that is needed for it. It will come as a big event and a great affair, either as something good in which there will never be any evil, or an evil one in which there will never be any good. Who is nearer to Paradise than one who works towards it, and who is nearer to Hell than one who works for it?
You are being chased by death. If you stop, it will catch you, and if you run away from it, it will grab you. It is more attached to you than your own shadow. Death is tied to your forelocks while the world is being wrapped up from behind you. Therefore, fear the Fire whose hollow is deep, whose flames are severe and whose punishment is novel.
It is a place wherein there is no mercy. No call is heard in it. No pain is healed in it. If it is possible for you to have severe fear of Allah and to rest hope in Him, then do both these things because every individual can have hope in His Lord to the extent of his fear of His Lord. Certainly, the most hopeful person with Allah is whoever fears Him the most.
O Muhammad son of Abu Bakr! Be informed that I have given you charge of Egypt which is my biggest force. You are duty-bound to oppose your passions and to serve as a shield against your religion even though you may get only an hour in the world.
Do not enrage Allah for pleasing others because (Allah) is such that He may take the place of others, yet others cannot take the place of Allah. Say prayers at their appointed times. Do not say your prayers earlier for the sake of (available) leisure, nor should you delay them on account of any preoccupation. Remember that every deed of yours is dependent on your prayers.

Some people were making a mosque
Suddenly Bahlōl arrived and asked: what are you doing ?
They replied: we are making a mosque.
Bahlōl said: for what?
They replied: "there is no “what”! It is for the sake of God."
Bahlōl wanted them, the trustees of good works (who built the mosque) to realize the degree of their sincerity and honesty in building that mosque..
So he (Bahlōl) secretly ordered a rock, and wrote on it, "Bahlōl’s Mosque" and installed it overnight on the mosque’s main entrance.
The trustees of the mosque came the next day and saw the stone on the main entrance where there was written "Bahlōl Mosque."
They became upset; and started searching for Bahlōl. When they found him, they beat him and said that you put others' efforts under your name.
Bahlōl said: "Did not you say that you have made the mosque for GOD?"
Let’s say if people make a mistake and think that I made this mosque, but God doesn’t make mistakes (he knows who sincerely built it).

Today, we are witnessing a contemporary kind of the pledge, one that rests on money. For example, people gave their pledge to President George Bush and today they are giving the pledge to the European Union and many Arab figures, for various considerations and ambitions.

Prophet Mohammad’s Sermon of Sha’bāniyeh (peace be with him and his Progeny) خطبه شعبانيه
Part One
It has been reported from Imām Aba-l Hassan Ali ibn Mūsa-r Redha who narrated from his fathers from the leader of the believers Ali ibn-e Abi Talib (peace be with them) who said:
“One day the messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and his progeny) addressed us and said:
‘O’ people! Indeed ahead of you is the blessed month of Almighty God;
A month of blessing, mercy and forgiveness. A month which with Allah is the best of months;
Its days, the best of days, its nights, the best of nights, and its hours, the best of hours. It is the month during which you are invited to be the guests of God and you are placed to be from people of Allah’s dignity
Each breath you take glorifies him; your sleep is worship, your deeds
are accepted and your supplications are answered.
So, invoke Allah, your Lord, with honest intentions and pure hearts to grant you success in fasting and reciting his Book in this month.
Therefor miserable is certainly the one who is deprived of Allah's forgiveness in this great month.
Remember the hunger and thirst of the day of Judgment with your hunger and thirst (while fasting); give alms to the needy and poor, Pay respect to your elders, have sympathy for your youngsters and maintain relations with your blood relatives.
Guard your tongues, close your eyes to the impermissible for your sight, close your ears to that which is forbidden to hear, show compassion and kindness to the orphans of people so compassion may be shown to your orphans.
Repent to Allah for your sins
and supplicate with raised hands at the times of prayer as these are the best times, during which Allah Almighty looks at His servants with mercy. And raise your hands to supplicate at the times of prayers for they are the best of times during which Allah the Almighty and Glorious looks towards His servants with mercy, answering them if they supplicate, responding them if they call Him, granting them if He is asked, and accepting if they entreat.
O People!
Indeed your souls are dependent on your deeds, so make it free by invoking Almighty God for forgiveness (Esteghfār). Your backs are heavily loaded from your sins, so lighten their loads by long prostrations. And know that Allah swears by His might that:
There is no punishment for the one who prays and prostrates and He shall not appall them from Hellfire on the day when man stands
before the Lord of the Worlds (the Doomsday).
O People! One who gives food after the sunset (Iftaar) to a fasting believer during this month will be like one who has freed a slave and his past sins will be forgiven.’
Some of the people who were there then asked the Prophet (God bless him and his progeny):
'Not all of us are able to invite those who are fasting?'
The Prophet replied: 'Keep yourself away from Hell-fire though it may consist of (even) half of a dried date or some water (if you have nothing else)'.
O’ People! One who has good morals (Akhlaq) during this month will be able to pass the bridge to Paradise (Siraat) on the day when feet will tend to slip. For anyone who during this month eases the workload of his servants, God will make easy his accounting, and for anyone who doesn't hurt others during this month, God will safeguard him from His Wrath on the Day of Judgment.
As for one who honors (take care) of an orphan during this month; God will honor him on that Day.
And for the one who treats his blood relatives (and connects ties with them) during this month, God will bestow His Mercy on him on that Day.
As for the one who cuts the ties of relation with his blood relatives; God will cut and keep away His mercy from him.
Whosoever performs recommended prayers in this month God will save him from Hell-fire. And whoever offers an obligatory prayer during this month, his reward will be seventy times the reward during other months.

📄His Description of a Pious Person
The God-fearing are the people of distinction. Their speech is to the point, their dress is modest, and their gait is humble. They keep their eyes closed to what God has made unlawful for them, and they tune their ears to the knowledge that is beneficial to them. During times of trial, they remain calm. The greatness of the Creator is in their hearts, and everything else appears insignificant to them. To them, Paradise and its enjoyments are as if they are visualizing them. To them, the sufferings and punishment of Hell are as if they are actually witnessing them.
Their hearts are grieved (from seeing the suffering around them), they protect themselves from evil, their bodies are lean (due to fasting and eating less), their needs are few, and their souls are chaste. They endure (hardship of this life) for a brief period, and they, in return, secure lasting bliss (of the Hereafter). It is a beneficial transaction, and God made it available to them. The world tried to allure them, but they did not respond to it. It laid its snare for them, but they avoided it.
During the nights, they recite the Holy Scripture (the Qur’an), and through its recitation they seek spiritual (uplifting and) purification. When they come across a verse describing Paradise, they are attracted to it and visualize it in their imagination. When they come across a verse which contains descriptions of Hell, they feel as though the sounds of Hell are reaching their ears. They prostrate themselves and beseech God, the Sublime, for their deliverance.
They downplay their good deeds. They are quick to accept blame. When someone praises them, they say to themselves, “I know myself better than others, and my Lord knows me better than I know.” They then pray: “O’ God, do not deal with me according to what they say, make me better than what they think of me, and forgive me for (those of my shortcomings) which they do not know.”
The characteristic of the pious one is that he has strength in religion, he has firmness along with leniency, he has faith with conviction, eagerness in (seeking) knowledge, moderation in riches, devotion in worship, gracefulness in deprivation, endurance in hardship, desire for the lawful, and dislike for greed. He performs virtuous deeds but still feels fear (for not doing enough). He thanks and praises God morning and evening. The coolness of his eye lies in the gifts that are everlasting (in the Hereafter), in preference to the things of this world.
His worldly hopes and aspirations are few and simple, his spirit is contented, his meals are small and simple, his religion safe, and his anger is suppressed. Only good is expected from him. Evil is far removed from him. He forgives him who wrongs him, and he gives to him who deprives him. He behaves well with him who behaves ill with him.
He is soft-spoken; indecent speech is far removed from him. His sins are nonexistent and his virtues are ever many. His manner is dignified during calamities; he is patient in times of distress and is thankful (to God) during times of ease. He deals justly with people, even if he dislikes them, and does not commit sins for the sake of his loved ones. He admits truth, even before evidence is brought against him. He does not withhold what is in his custody and does not forget his obligation. He does not give bad names to others, nor does he harm his neighbor. He does not feel happy at the misfortunes of others; he avoids what is wrong and adheres to what is right.
If he is wronged, he endures and lets God take revenge on his behalf. People feel safe from him. He endures hardships in this life for the sake of the life in the Hereafter. His keeping away from others is by way of asceticism and purification, and his nearness to those to whom he is near is by way of kindness. His keeping away from people is not by way of vanity or feeling of superiority, nor is his closeness to them just for show.
