Highway to Appearance …
Going on pilgrimage of Imam Hosain (SBUH) on foot has been the tradition of believers … Imam Sadiq (SBUH) has asserted:
He who goes on pilgrimage of Imam Hosain’s (SBUH) grave on foot, for each of his steps Allah SWT writes 1000 good deeds and obliterates 1000 sins and raises his rank 1000 levels …
(Kaamel al-Ziyaaraat, from the Zehni Tehrani translation, p. 435; …)
Perhaps for some … the main goal of this walk has been to honor the exalted position of the martyrs of Karbala, especially Imam Hosain (SBUH) himself … and to attain the promised rewards in this world and in the hereafter …
But for some sincere followers of the AhlulBayt (SBUT) … in addition to honoring the martyrs and hoping to attain the wonderful rewards … they have been realizing that the highway to Appearance passes through Karbala … for, Allah SWT has promised that He would Avenge the holy blood of Imam Hosain (SBUH) and his faithful companions at the hand of the Qaa’em (SBUH) …
Imam Baqer (SBUH) has asserted that when his forefather Imam Hosain (SBUH) was martyred … angels wept wholeheartedly and cried and wondered what Allah SWT was going to do to the killers of Imam Hosain (SBUH), he who was chosen by Allah and was the son of Allah’s most exalted chosen creation …
The Imam (SBUH) continued that Allah SWT asked the angels to be calm and swore by His Undefeatedness and His Glory that He would avenge him (SBUH) be it at a later time … then He manifested before their eyes the Infallible Imams (SBUT) from the offspring of Imam Hosain (SBUH), the angels became delighted … among the Infallible Imams (SBUH) was one who was Risen and was performing Salat …
Allah SWT said that with that Qaa’em (Riser) He would avenge imam Hosain (SBUH) …
(al-Ghaybat al-No’maani, from the Ghaffaari translation, p. 135; …)
Sincere followers of the AhlulBayt (SBUT) are Inshaa’Allah realizing more and more … that their acts and behavior … their works and deeds … their beliefs and wants … their risings and sittings … all and all … should follow their Imam of their time, Hazrat Mahdi (SBUH) …
They are Inshaa’Allah realizing more and more … that their main provision from this heavenly highway should be true recognition and servitude and obedience of Allah through the true recognition of their one and only Infallible Imam of time (May Allah hasten his Appearance), through the true recognition and acceptance of Hazrat Mahdi’s (SBUH) Allah bestowed Wilayat and Lordship … to love him and to obey him in every thing he does or does not do, in every thing he wishes, be it during Occultation or Appearance, to seek his pleasedness and assistance in every thing one does … is the only heavenly pathway toward the Pleasedness of Allah …
Imam Sadiq (SBUH) has narrated that one day Imam Hosain (SBUH), after praising Allah and stating Salawaat upon Hazrat Mohammad (SAWA), swore by Allah SWT and told his companions that indeed Allah had not created his creations unless so that they would recognize and get to know Allah, and thus they would worship Allah, and through His worship and obedience they would become free from servitude of other than Allah; a devoted man asked Imam Hosain (SBUH) what the Ma’refat (recognition and knowing) of Allah was; the Imam (SBUH) responded that indeed the Ma’refat of Allah was the Ma’refat of the people of each time and era the Ma’refat of the Infallible Imam of that time whose obedience would be incumbent upon them.
(‘Elal al-Sharaaye’ of Shaikh Sadooq, vol. 1, p. 9; Kanz al-Fawaa’ed, p. 151; …)
MAY WE ALL, BY GRACE OF ALLAH, BE BLESSED TO PLACE OUR STEPS IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF OUR IMAM OF OUR TIME, MOMENT BY MOMENT UNTIL ALLAH SWT WILL ALLOW HIS GLORIOUS APPEARANCE … AND MAY ALLAH HASTEN THAT UNIQUE AND EVER-PROMISED MOMENT …
AAMEEN …

PROPHET'S HISTORIC GHADIR SERMON
PART VI
O people! Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, has perfected your religion through his (' Ali's) Imamate; so, whoever rejects him as his Imam or rejects those of my offspring from his loins who assume the same status (as lmams) till the Day of Judgment when they shall all be displayed before Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, these are the ones whose (good) deeds shall be nil and void in the life of this world and in the hereafter, and in the fire shall they be lodged forever, " ...their torture shall not be decreased, nor shall they be given a respite" (Qur'an,2:162).
O people! Here is' Ali, the one who has supported me more than anyone else among you, the one who most deserves my gratitude, the one who is closest of all of you to me and the one who is the very dearest to me. Both Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, and I are pleased with him, and no verse of the Holy Qur'an expressing Allah's Pleasure except that he is implied therein, nor has any verse of praise been revealed in the Qur'an except that he is implied therein, nor has the Lord testified to Paradise in the (Qur'anic) Chapter starting with "Has there not come over man a long period of time when he was nothing (not even) mentioned?" (Qur'an, 76:1) nor was this Chapter revealed except in his praise.
O people! He is the one who supports the religion of Allah, who argues on behalf of the Messenger of Allah. He is the pious, the pure, the guide, the one rightly guided. Your Prophet is the best of all prophets, and your wasi is the best of all wasis, and his offspring are the best of wasis .
O people! Each prophet's progeny is from his own loins whereas mine is from the loins of Arneerul-Mo'mineen ' Ali.
O people! Iblis caused Adam to be dismissed from the garden through envy; so, do not envy him lest your deeds should be voided and lest your feet should slip away, for Adam was sent down to earth after having committed only one sin, and he was among the elite of Allah's creation. How, then, will be your case, and you being who you are, and among you are enemies of Allah?
Indeed, none hates' Ali except a wretch, and none accepts ' Ali's wilayat except a pious person. None believes in him except a sincere mu'min, and in honor of, Ali was the Chapter of 'Asr (Ch. 103) revealed, I swear to it by Allah: "In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. I swear by time that most surely man is in loss" (Qur'an, 103:1-2) except' Ali who believed and was pleased with the truth and with perseverance.
O people! I have sought Allah to be my Witness and have conveyed my Message to you, and the Messenger is obligated only to clearly convey (his Message).

PROPHET'S HISTORIC GHADIR SERMON
PART Vlll
The Prophet continued his historic sermon thus: O people! I am calling for it to be an Imamate and a succession confined to my offspring till the Day of Judgment, and I have conveyed only what I have been commanded (by my Lord) to convey to drive the argument home against everyone present or absent and on everyone who has witnessed or who has not, who is already born or he is yet to be born; therefore, let those present here convey it to those who are absent, and let the father convey it to his son, and so on till the Day of Judgment.
And they shall make the Imamate after me a property, a usurpation; may Allah curse the usurpers who usurp1, and it is then that you, O jinns and mankind, will get the full attention of the One Who shall cause a flame of fire and brass to be hurled upon you, and you shall not achieve any victory!
O people! Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, is not to let you be whatever you want to be except so that He may distinguish the bad ones from among you from the good, and Allah is not to make you acquainted with the unknown.
O people! There shall be no town that falsifies except that Allah shall annihilate it on account of its falsehood before the Day of Judgment, and He shall give al-lmam al-Mehdi (U authority over it, and surely Allah's promise is true.
1 This is surely a Prophetic prediction that' Ali's right to the caliphate would be usurped. The usurpers were the very first to swear the oath of allegiance to Ameerul-Mo'mineen ' Ali and the very first to violate it.
O people! Most of the early generations before you have strayed, and by Allah, He surely annihilated the early generations, and He shall annihilate the later ones. Allah Almighty has said, "Did We not destroy the former generations? Then did We follow them up with later ones. Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. Woe on that Day to the rejecters!" (Qur'an, 77: 16-19).
O people! Allah has ordered me to do and not to do, and I have ordered 'Ali to do and not to do, so he learned what should be done and what should not; therefore. you should listen to his orders so that you may be safe, and you should obey him so that you may be rightly guided. Do not do what he forbids you from doing so that you may acquire wisdom. Agree with him, and do not let your paths be different from his.
O people! I am al-Sirat al-Mustaqeem (the Straight Path) of Allah whom He commanded you to follow, and it is after me 'Ali then my offspring from his loins, the Imams of Guidance: they guide to the truth and act accordingly.
Then the Prophet recited the entire text of Surat al-Fatiha and commented by saying: It is in my honor that this (Sura) was revealed, including them (the Imams) specifically; they are the friends of Allah for whom there shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve; truly the Party of Allah are the winners. Indeed, it is their enemies who are the impudent ones, the deviators, the brethren of Satan; they inspire each other with embellished speech out of their haughtiness.

O people! You are more numerous than (it is practical) to shake hands with me all at the same time, and Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, commanded me to require you to confirm what authority I have vested upon 'Ali Ameerul-Mo'mineen and to whoever succeeds him of the Imams from me and from him, since I have just informed you that my offspring are from his loins.
You, therefore, should say in one voice: "We hear, and we obey; we accept and we are bound by what you have conveyed to us from our Lord and yours with regard to our Imam' Ali (V' Ameerul-Mo'mineen, and to the Imams, your sons from his loins. We swear the oath of allegiance to you in this regard with our hearts, with our souls, with our tongues, with our hands. According to it shall we live, and according to it shall we die, and according to it shall we be resurrected. We shall not alter anything or substitute anything with another, nor shall we doubt nor deny nor suspect, nor shall we violate our covenant nor abrogate the pledge. You admonished us on behalf of Allah with regard to' Ali (V' Ameerul-Mo'mineen, and to the Imams whom you mentioned to be from your offspring from among his descendants after him: al-Hasan and al-Husain and to whoever is appointed (as such) by Allah after them. The covenant and the pledge are taken from us, from our hearts, from our souls, from our tongues, from our conscience, from our hands. Whoever does so by his handshake, it shall be so, or otherwise testified to it by his tongue, and we do not seek any substitute for it, nor shall Allah see our souls deviating there from. We shall convey the same on your behalf to anyone near and far of our offspring and families, and we implore Allah to testify to it, and surely Allah suffices as the Witness and you, too, shall testify for us."
O people! What are you going to say?! Allah knows every sound and the innermost of every soul; "Whoever chooses the right guidance, it is for his own soul that he is rightly guided, and whoever strays, it is only to its detriment that he goes astray" (Qur'an, 17:15).
O people! Swear the oath of allegiance to Allah, and swear it to me, and swear it to' Ali Ameerul-Mo'mineen, and to al-Hasan and al-Husain and to the Imams from their offspring in the life of this world and in the hereafter, a word that shall always remain so. Allah shall annihilate anyone guilty of treachery and be merciful upon everyone who remains true to his word: "Whoever reneges (from his oath), he reneges only to the harm of his own soul, and whoever fulfills what he has covenanted with Allah, He will grant him a mighty reward" (Qur'an, 48:10)
O people! Repeat what I have just told you to, and greet' Ali with the title of authority of "Ameerul-Mo'mineen" and say: "We hear, and we obey, O Lord! Your forgiveness (do we seek), and to You is the eventual course" (Qur'an, 2:285), and you should say: "All praise is due to Allah Who guided us to this, and we would not have found the way had it not been for Allah Who guided us" (Qur'an, 7:43).
O people! The merits of' Ali ibn Abu Talib with Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, the merits which are revealed in the Qur'an, are more numerous than I can recount in one speech; so, whoever informs you of them and defines them for you, you should believe him.

Characteristics of the Prophet Abraham
Part ll
7.Penitent
Abraham was indeed forbearing, most tender- hearted, [and] penitent. (11:75)
Our Lord! In You do we put our trust, and to You do we turn penitently, and toward You is the destination. (60:4)
8.Obedient
Indeed Abraham was a nation (or leader or model) obedient to God, a hanif, and he was not one of the polytheists. (16:120)
9.Grateful
Grateful [as he was] for His blessings, He chose him and guided him to a straight path. (16:121)
10.Most truthful
And mention in the Book Abraham. Indeed he was a most truthful one, a prophet. (19:41)
11.Meets his Lord with pure heart
when he came to his Lord with a pure heart, (37:84)
12.Faithful
He is indeed one of Our faithful servants. (37:111)
13.Puts his trust in God
Our Lord! In You do we put our trust, and to You do we turn penitently, and toward You is the destination. (60:4)
14.Good example in his and his followers' treatment of idol worshippers
There is certainly a good exemplar for you in Abraham and those who were with him, when they said to their own people, 'Indeed we repudiate you and whatever you worship besides God. We disavow you, and between you and us there has appeared enmity and hate for ever,
unless you come to have faith in God alone,' except for Abraham's saying to his father, 'I will surely plead forgiveness for you, though I cannot avail you anything against God'. (60:4)
There is certainly a good exemplar for you in them -for those who look forward to God and the Last Day- and anyone who refuses to comply [should know that] indeed God is the All- sufficient, the All-laudable. (60:6)

Abdul-Ażheem al-Hasani and Imam al-Hadi 🔹
✍️ Abdul-Azheem Hasani narrated: I visited my master Ali bin Mohammed bin Ali bin Musa bin Ja’far, (peace be upon them).
🔹 When his eyes fell on me, he said: “Welcome, O Abu-l Qasim, you are surely our disciple.”
🔹 I said: “O son of the Messenger of Allah, “I want to provide my beliefs before you. If they are right, I will maintain until I meet Allah, Powerful and Majestic is He.”
🔹“Well,” said the Imam “show me.” I began, “Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, is One. There is nothing like Him. He is out of the two edges—the edge of neutralization and the edge of anthropomorphism.[1]
🔹 He is not corporeality, image, accident, or essence. He, Glorified in His Name, is the Maker of the corporalities, the Former of the images, and the Creator of the accidents and the essences. He is the Lord, the Possessor, the Maker, and the Producer of everything. He is All-wise; He neither does the ugly nor does He break the obligatory.
🔹 I also believe that Mohammed (peace be with him and his progeny) is His servant and messenger as well as the seal of the prophets.
🔹 No prophet will come forth after him up to the Day of Resurrection. His code is the seal of codes. No code will be enacted after his code up to the Day of Resurrection.
🔹 I also believe that the Imāms, successors, and lawful leaders after him are Amīr-ul Mu'minīn Ali bin Abi Talib, then Imām Hasan, then Imām Husain, then Imām Ali-ibn-al Husain, then Imām Mohammed bin Ali, Ja’far bin Mohammed, then Imām Musa bin Ja’far, then Imām Ali bin Musa, then Imām Mohammed bin Ali, and you—my master, peace be with you all, respectively.”
🔹 The Imam said: “After me, my son Hasan will come then what will people do with his successor?”
🔹“Then how to know the next Imam, master?” I asked.
🔹 Imam Hadi (peace be with him) answered: “His appearance will not be seen and his name cannot be mentioned until he comes forth to fill in the earth with justice and fairness in the same way as it would be filled with wrong and injustice.” “I submit to this,”
🔹 I said, “I also declare that the follower of the Imams is surely the disciple of Allah, their enemy is surely the enemy of Allah, the obedience to them is surely the obedience to Allah, and the disobedience to them is surely the disobedience to Allah.
🔹 I declare that the Prophet’s Midnight Ascension is right, the tomb interrogation is right, Paradise is right, Hell is right, the Path is right, the Balance is right, and there is no doubt about the coming of the Hour of Doom and that Allah will raise every one from the graves.
🔹 I declare that the obligatory religious duties, after the (obligatory) following with loyalty to the Imams, are the prayer, the zakat, the fasting, the hajj, the jihad, the enjoinment of good, the forbiddance of evil, and the keeping of the parents’ rights.
🔹 This has been my religion, belief, and faith.” Ali bin Mohammed (a) said: “O Abu al-Qasim, this is, by Allah, the very religion that Allah has accepted for His servants; therefore, you should keep it. Allah may strengthen your faith by the true Words in this world and in the life to come.”
[1] The edge of neutralization stands for the fact that no description can express the actual attributes of God. The edge of anthropomorphism stands for the fact that God cannot be anthropomorphized.

A true story with a beautiful point told by Emam Khomeini when he was in Najaf regarding a deceiver who came to Najaf to misguide Emam. Then Emam narrates a case of a non-muslim (jewish) man who converted to Islam and then became a hardcore Muslim.
The grand scholar of Hamadān called upon him. When the new Muslim arrived, the scholar asked if he knew him and his ancestors. So the convert replied affirmative and said he is a great scholar who is the descendent of the Prophet Mohammad and his progeny (peace be with them).
Then the scholar asked who he is. So the man replied he is a convert and his forefathers were non-Muslim.
Finally, the scholar inquired: then why and how did you become more ‘Muslim’ than me?
(At that moment, the ‘hardcore convert Muslim’ understood that he was exposed and his scheme was identified by the scholar so he just disappeared).
Note:
Deceivers can misguide communities and create complicated troubles (in belief and faith, especially through innovated rituals). Adherence to true scholars leads to salvation, and true understanding of the essence of Islam from authentic sources and credentialed experts from Seminarian institutions prevents such deception.

said: "to bear witness that there is no God but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah and that 'Isa (Jesus) (a.s) is created a slave (of Allah), and he used to eat, drink and relieve himself”.
They said: “Then who was his father”? The revelation was then revealed to the Messenger of Allah saying: “Say to them - what do you say about Adam, was he a created servant (of Allah), who would eat, drink, relieve himself and cohabit”?
So the Prophet asked them and they replied: “Yes”. He (Prophet) asked them: “Then who was his father”? They could not answer, so Allah revealed:
Verily, the similitude of Jesus with Allah is as the similitude of Adam; Allah created him out of dust, then said to him, ‘Be’, and he became (3:59)
till the verse:
And should anyone argue with you concerning him, after the knowledge that has come to you…. and call down Allah’s curse upon the liars. (3:61)
The Messenger of God said: “So challenge me: if I am telling the truth the curse falls on you, and if I am a liar the curse falls on me”. They said: “You have been just”.
They agreed on a date for ‘mubahala’ (mutual imprecation). [The term 'Mubahala' is derived from its Arabic root 'bahlah' meaning 'curse'. Thus the act of al-Mubahala means that each of the two parties invokes the curse of Allah on the other if the latter is untruthful].
When they returned to the places they were staying in, their leaders al-Sayyid, al-'Aqib and al-Ahtam said: “If he challenges us with his people, we accept the challenge for he is not a Prophet; but if he challenges us with his family in particular we don't challenge him, for he is not going to put forward his family unless he is truthful”.
In the morning, they came to the Messenger of Allah, and there with him were the Commander of the Faithful Ali, Fatimah, Hasan and Husayn peace be with them, so the Christians said: “Who are those”? The people replied: “This is his cousin and successor and son-in-law, and this is his daughter Fatimah, and these are his grandsons, Hasan and Husayn”.
When the Christian delegation saw a woman, two children and only one man with the Prophet, they were frightened and worried and said to the Messenger of Allah: “We will pay tax so excuse us from the ‘mubahala’”. Then the Messenger of Allah made a settlement with them for them to pay the Jizya like muslims were paying zakaat and khums and then they left.’
= = = = = = = = = = = = = =
This event has been related in both Sunni and Shi’i books of hadith and Qur’anic exegesis (tafsir).
It is related in the al-Tafsir of al-Tha’labi:
When the Prophet called the Christians for the imprecation they said: 'Let us return and think over it.' When they were alone, they asked al-'Aqib - and he was a man of good judgment among them: 'O 'Abd al-Masih! What is your opinion? , He said: ' By Allah! You are well-aware, O Christians, that Muhammad is a prophet sent by Allah, and that he has brought to you the decisive word about your Companion ('Jesus of Nazareth).
By Allah! Whenever a nation has entered into imprecation with a prophet, their elders have perished and their youngsters have died. And if you do it, we shall surely perish; but, if you turn down, for the love of your religion and (want) to remain on what you have at present, then make peace with the man and go back to your towns.
"So they came to the Messenger of Allah; and he had come out in the morning carrying Husayn in his lap, holding the hand of Hasan, with Fatimah walking behind him and 'Ali was behind her; and he was saying: 'When I pray, you say "Amen" '. Then the Bishop of Najran said: 'O Christians! Surely I see the faces that if they ask Allah to remove a mountain from its place, He would surely remove it. Therefore, do not do imprecation, otherwise you will perish, and there will not remain any Christian on the face of the earth, upto the Day of Resurrection’.
"Then they said: 'O Abu'l-Qasim! We have decided that we should not enter into imprecation against you; and that we leave you on your religion and we remain on our religion.'
He said: 'Well, if you ref
The virtues of Surah Al-Qadr.
Last prophet of God prophet Mohammad (peace be with him and his progeny) said: Whoever recites Surah Qadr is like one who fasted during the month of Ramadhan and kept the night of Qadr awake and kept it alive.
Hazrat Abu Abdellah, Imam Sadegh (peace and blessings of Allah be with him) said: When someone recites Surah Qadr in his prayer, Allah Almighty says to him: O Abdullah (servant of Allah)! your previous sins have been forgiven, start over and build a new life.
Imām Mohammad Baqir (peace and blessings of Allah be with him) said:
Whoever recites Surah Qadr in a long, clear, comprehensive, precise, planned and long manner is like one who has shown his sword to everyone in the way of Allah; That is to say, fighting for Allah has become clear to everyone.
And they also said: Whoever recites Surah Qadr ten times, Allah will erase a thousand of his sins.

Emam Khomeini is a man in the path of the ancient prophets who called the world to follow religious principles. His message to the people of the world was to keep the purity of beliefs and pursue the simplicity opposite to the complexities and impurities of the west, and this is the key to his success and the sense of his follower’s pride.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
‘He who leads a blind man forty steps on level ground, even if he was to be rewarded the whole world’s worth of gold, it would not be enough to recompense a needle’s worth of what that act deserves. And if there is a danger on the path which he averts him from, he will find that act on the Day of Resurrection within his balance of good deeds, larger than one hundred thousand times the expanse of the earth.’
