Imam Al-Husein peace be with him wanted to liberate the people who were enslaved by the rulers, and therefore the revolution of Imam Al-Husein peace be with himwas launched based on this humanitarian aspect in order to achieve freedom for the entire mankind.
The dimensions of Imam Al-Husein's revolution:
As we read through the narration of Imam Al-Husein peace be with him, we see that when he went out to the battle to fight those who came to fight him, and when he saw his opponents invading the tents of the women, he addressed them saying: "O You the followers of Abu Sifyan, if you do not follow a religion, and if you do not fear the Judgment day, be free in your lives and return to your origins if you were Arabs."
Imam Al-Husein peace be with him raised two issues here. The first is that he laid emphasis to the freedom of man when he said: If you do not abide by religious values and you do not believe in a creed, at least be free. The free man is the one who does not sell himself or his position or opinion in return for money or positions. Do not be slaves, because you are fighting to obey those who enslave you.
The second issue he raised is that Imam peace be with him tried to provoke in them the feelings of Arabism which Islam approved: "Be Arabs", not in terms of the narrow nationalism, but on the basis of the values the Arabs lived, which Islam adopted some of them and eliminated others. This discourse is not addressed to the followers of Abu Sufyan in particular, but to every human being.
On the humanitarian level, we also read his speech when he was asked to give legitimacy to Yazid. He said: "The illegitimate, son of the illegitimate, has settled between two: between unsheathing [the sword] and humiliation, and how impossible is humiliation from us." So it is about being honored in all your life. Imam As-Sadiq peace be with him was quoted as saying upon interpreting the following Quranic verse: "God has the glory and His Prophet and the believers." (63:08) Imam As-Sadiq peace be with him said: "God has allowed the believer to run all his affairs, but he did not authorize him to humiliate himself." Glory is based on power: "The power is wholly Allah's". (02:165). So, to be honorable is to be strong and defending you humanity and freedom.
Then he said: "Do not you see that no one abides by the right and everyone embarks on the wrong?" He is talking about the righteousness which people should abide by, and righteousness is the concept that exists in all the issues of human beings, which ascend his position at the individual, political and social levels.
Therefore, we have to present Ashoura to the entire world in its humanitarian aspect, rather than restricting it to a sectarian aspect because Imam Al-Husein peace be with him is the imam of all Muslims and he obtained his Imamate from Prophet Muhammad (p.) with whom Al-Husein peace be with him lived his early childhood. He also lived with his mother, Sayyeda Az-Zahra and his father Ali peace be with him. So, he enjoyed all the elements and characters of spiritual faith these figures enjoyed. Prophet Muhammad (p.) said: "Husein is from me, and I am from Husein", which reveals the spiritual integration between the Prophet (p.) and Al-Husein peace be with him.
The values of reform in the revolution of Imam Al-Husein peace be with him:
Imam Al-Husein peace be with him said: "I revolted neither for wickedness nor for fame. Verily I rose only to seek for reform in the nation of my grandfather; the messenger of Allah." He did not speak about a certain family or region, but about the entire nation, because he was shouldering the responsibility of the whole nation through his Imamate. "I want to enjoin good and forbid wrong and evil", he said. So, he noticed the deviant situation of the nation, because the rule prevailing at that time damaged the humanitarian aspect of the people who used to love Imam Al-Husein peace be with him and his family, but at the same time, they were fighting to earn money or obtain a certain position in the authority, such as Omar BinSa'ad
Letter of Imam Ali to Malik e Ashtar
(Part One)
Written for Malik-e Ashtar Nakha'i, when the status of Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr had become precarious and Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib (peace be with him) had appointed Malik-e Ashtar as the governor of Egypt and the surrounding areas. This document contains the worlds highest and greatest number of eminent and outstanding statements:
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
💠This is what God's servant Ali ibn Abi Talib has ordered Malik ibn al-Harith al-Ashtar in his instrument (of appointment) for him when he made him Governor of Egypt for the collection of its revenues, fighting its enemies, seeking the good of its people and making its cities prosperous.💠
💠He has ordered him to fear Allah, to prefer obedience to Him and to follow what He has commanded in His Book (Holy Quran) out of His obligatory and elective commands, without following which one cannot achieve virtue, nor (can one) be evil save by opposing them and ignoring them and to support the cause of Allah the Glorified One, with his heart, hand and tongue because Allah Whose name is Sublime takes the responsibility for helping him who helps Him and for protecting him who gives Him support.💠
💠He also orders him to break his heart off from passions and to restrain it at the time of their increase because the heart leads towards evil unless Allah has mercy. 💠
Qualifications of a Governor and his Responsibilities:
💠Then, know O Malik, that I have sent you to an area where there have been governments before you, both just as well as oppressive.💠
💠People would now watch your dealings as you used to watch the dealings of the rulers before you and they (people) would criticize you as you criticized them (rulers).💠
Surely, the virtuous are known by the reputation that Allah circulates for them through the tongues of His creatures. Therefore, the best collection with you should be the collection of good deeds.💠
💠So, control your passions and check your heart from doing what is not lawful for you because checking the heart means detaining it just half way between what it likes and dislikes.💠
💠Habituate your heart to mercy for the subjects and to affection and kindness for them. Do not stand over them like greedy beasts who feel it is enough to devour them since they (people) are of two kinds: either your brethren in religion or your likes in creation.💠
💠They would commit slips and encounter mistakes. They may act wrongly, willfully or out of negligence. So, extend to them your forgiveness and pardon them in the same way as you would like Allah to extend His forgiveness and to pardon you because you are over them and your responsible Commander (Imam) is over you, while Allah is over the one who appointed you. 💠
He (Allah) has sought you to manage their affairs and tried you through them.💠
💠Do not set yourself to fight Allah because you have no power to meet His power and you cannot do without His pardon and mercy. Do not regret forgiving or being merciful in punishing. Do not act hastily during your anger if you can find a way out of it. Do not say: “I have been given authority, I enjoy it when I order,” because it engenders confusion in the heart, weakens the religion and takes one to his ruin.💠
💠If the authority in which you are placed produces pride or vanity in you, look at the greatness of the realm of Allah over you and His might the like of which you do not even possess over yourselves. This will curb your haughtiness, cure you of your high temper and bring back to you your wisdom which had gone away from you.💠
💠Beware of comparing yourself to Allah in His greatness or likening yourself to Him in His power, for Allah humiliates every claimant of power and disgraces everyone who is haughty.💠
💠💠@AbodeofWisdom💠💠
Letter of Imam Ali to Malik e Ashtar
(Part Two)
💠Do justice for Allah, and do justice towards the people, as against your own selves, your near ones and those of your subjects for whom you have a liking because if you do not do so, you will be oppressive, and when a person oppresses the servants of Allah, instead of His creatures, Allah becomes his opponent.💠
💠And when Allah is the opponent of a person He tramples his plea, and we would remain in the status of being at war with Allah till he gives it up and repents.💠
💠Nothing is more inducive to the reversal of Allah’s bounty or for the hastening of His retribution than continuance in oppression because Allah hears the prayer of the oppressed and is on the look out for the oppressors.💠

THE STRANGER
Tired and exhausted with the waterskin on her back, she was gasping and going towards her house where innocent children, their eyes fixed at the door, were eagerly waiting for the arrival of their mother. On her way, an unknown man approached her. He took the waterskin from her and placed it on his back. The door opened and the children saw their mother entering the house with a stranger. He placed the waterskin on the ground and said:
"Well, it seems you don't have anyone to fetch water for you; how come you are so forlorn?"
"My husband was a soldier; Ali sent him to the frontier where he was killed. Now I am alone with these little children."
The stranger said no more. Bowing down his head he went away. But the thought of the helpless widow and orphans remained in his mind. He could hardly sleep in the night.
Early in the morning he picked up a basket; put some meat, flour and dates in it; went straight to her house and knocked at the door.
"Who are you?" "I am the man who brought your water yesterday. Now I have brought some food for the children"
"May God bless you and judge between us and Ali"
She opened the door. Entering the house he said:"I wish to do some good acts. Either let me knead the flour and bake the bread or allow me to look after the children."
"Very well, but I can do the job of kneading and cooking better than you. You take care of the children till I finish cooking"
She went to knead the flour Immediately, he grilled some meat which he had brought and fed the children saying to each child while putting morsel in his mouth:
"My son, forgive Ali if he has failed in his duty towards you"
When the flour got ready; she called: "sir! put fire in the oven:" He went and put fire in the oven. When flames rose up, he brought his face near the fire and said, "Taste the heat of fire. It is the punishment for those who fail in their duty towards orphans and widows."
By chance, a woman from the neighbouring house came in. Recognizing the stranger, she cried: "Woe, don't you recognize the man who is helping you? He is Amirul-Muumineen (commander of the faithfuls) Ali bin Abi-Talib."
The widow came forward and shamefacedly cried: "Curse and shame to me. I beg your pardon:"
The humble stranger who turned out to be Imam Ali (peace be with him) replied, "No, I beg your pardon for I failed in my duty towards you."

PART Xl
O people! Perform your pilgrimage to the House by perfecting your religion and by delving into fiqh, and do not leave the sacred places except after having repented and abandoned (the doing of anything prohibited).
O people! Uphold prayers and pay the zakat as Allah, the Exalted One and the Sublime, commanded you; so, if time lapses and you were short of doing so or you forgot, ' Ali is your wali and he will explain for you.
He is the one whom Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, appointed for you after me as the custodian of Hiscreation. He is from me and I am from him, and he and those who will succeed him from my progeny shall inform you of anything you ask them about, and they shall clarify whatever you do not know.
Halal and haram things are more than I can count for you now or explain, for a commandment to enjoin what is permissible and a prohibition from what is not permissible are both on the same level, so I was ordered (by my Lord) to take your oath of allegiance and to make a covenant with you to accept what I brought you from Allah, the Exalted One and the Sublime, with regards to' Ali Ameerul-Mo'mineen and to the wasis after him who are from me and from him, a standing Imamate whose seal is al-Mehdi till the Day he meets Allah Who decrees and Who judges.
O people! I never refrained from informing you of everything permissible or prohibitive; so, do remember this and safeguard it and advise each other to do likewise; do not alter it; do not substitute it with something else.
I am now repeating what I have already said: Uphold the prayers and pay the zakat and enjoin righteousness and forbid abomination.
The peak of enjoining righteousness is to resort to my speech and to convey it to whoever did not attend it and to order him on my behalf to accept it and to (likewise) order him not to violate it, for it is an order from Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, and there is no knowledge of enjoining righteousness nor prohibiting abomination except that it is with a ma'soom Imam.
0 people! The Qur'an informs you that the Imams after him are his (' Ali's) descendants, and I have already informed you that they are from me and from him, for Allah says in His Book, " And he made it a word to continue in his posterity so that they may return " (Qur'an, 43:28) while I have said: "You shall not stray as long as you uphold both of them (simultaneously)."
O people! (Uphold) piety, (uphold) piety, and be forewarned of the Hour as Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, has said, "0 people! Guard (yourselves) against (punishment from) your Lord; surely the violence of the Hour is a grievous thing" (Qur'an, 22:1).
Remember death, resurrection, the judgment, the scales, and the account before the Lord of the Worlds, and (remember) the rewards and the penalty. So whoever does a good deed shall be rewarded for it, and whoever commits a sin shall have no place in the Gardens.

PROPHET'S HISTORIC GHADIR SERMON
Part Xll
O people! You are more numerous than (it is practical) to shake hands with me all at the same time, and Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, commanded me to require you to confirm what authority I have vested upon 'Ali Ameerul-Mo'mineen and to whoever succeeds him of the Imams from me and from him, since I have just informed you that my offspring are from his loins.
You, therefore, should say in one voice: "We hear, and we obey; we accept and we are bound by what you have conveyed to us from our Lord and yours with regard to our Imam' Ali (V' Ameerul-Mo'mineen, and to the Imams, your sons from his loins. We swear the oath of allegiance to you in this regard with our hearts, with our souls, with our tongues, with our hands. According to it shall we live, and according to it shall we die, and according to it shall we be resurrected. We shall not alter anything or substitute anything with another, nor shall we doubt nor deny nor suspect, nor shall we violate our covenant nor abrogate the pledge. You admonished us on behalf of Allah with regard to' Ali (V' Ameerul-Mo'mineen, and to the Imams whom you mentioned to be from your offspring from among his descendants after him: al-Hasan and al-Husain and to whoever is appointed (as such) by Allah after them. The covenant and the pledge are taken from us, from our hearts, from our souls, from our tongues, from our conscience, from our hands. Whoever does so by his handshake, it shall be so, or otherwise testified to it by his tongue, and we do not seek any substitute for it, nor shall Allah see our souls deviating there from. We shall convey the same on your behalf to anyone near and far of our offspring and families, and we implore Allah to testify to it, and surely Allah suffices as the Witness and you, too, shall testify for us."
O people! What are you going to say?! Allah knows every sound and the innermost of every soul; "Whoever chooses the right guidance, it is for his own soul that he is rightly guided, and whoever strays, it is only to its detriment that he goes astray" (Qur'an, 17:15).
O people! Swear the oath of allegiance to Allah, and swear it to me, and swear it to' Ali Ameerul-Mo'mineen, and to al-Hasan and al-Husain and to the Imams from their offspring in the life of this world and in the hereafter, a word that shall always remain so. Allah shall annihilate anyone guilty of treachery and be merciful upon everyone who remains true to his word: "Whoever reneges (from his oath), he reneges only to the harm of his own soul, and whoever fulfills what he has covenanted with Allah, He will grant him a mighty reward" (Qur'an, 48:10)
O people! Repeat what I have just told you to, and greet' Ali with the title of authority of "Ameerul-Mo'mineen" and say: "We hear, and we obey, O Lord! Your forgiveness (do we seek), and to You is the eventual course" (Qur'an, 2:285), and you should say: "All praise is due to Allah Who guided us to this, and we would not have found the way had it not been for Allah Who guided us" (Qur'an, 7:43).
O people! The merits of' Ali ibn Abu Talib with Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, the merits which are revealed in the Qur'an, are more numerous than I can recount in one speech; so, whoever informs you of them and defines them for you, you should believe him.

Why we cry for Imam Husain (peace be with him)?
Part Two
http://3rdimam.com/showdata.aspx?dataid=912529&siteid=3
Furthermore, crying for Imam al-Hussain (AS) is considered seeking nearness to Allah (SWT) for the tragedy of Karbala is bound to the great sacrifice which Imam al-Hussain (AS) endured for the sake of Allah (SWT) and for Islam. It is only when your heart is soft and absorbable that you feel the sense of closeness to Allah (SWT). The Holy Qur’an praises crying and those who cry for a legitimate cause. The Holy Qur’an describes many of the Prophets and their followers when they cried, "When the verses of the Most Gracious were recited unto them, they fell down prostrating and weeping" [4]
Furthermore we cry over the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussain (AS) for the Holy Prophet (SAW) wept for Imam al-Hussain (AS) as recorded in many traditions (ahadith):
Ahmed and Ibn al-Dhahhak narrated from Ali (AS): “I entered on the prophet (SAW) and his eyes were flooded, I said: Oh! Prophet of Allah, anyone made you angry? Why are your eyes flooded? He said: Gabriel just left me telling me that al-Hussain will be killed by the river Euphrates. He (the Prophet) said: So he (Gabriel) said: Do you want me to let you smell his dirt (from his burial pot)? I said: Yes! He reached with his hand and grabbed and handful of dirt and gave it to me. So I could not help it and my eyes were flooded.” [5]
Ummul Fadhl the daughter of al-Harith said that she entered on the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and she said: “Oh! Messenger of Allah, I saw a strange dream last night. He said: And what is it? She said: It was difficult. He said: And what is it? She said: I saw, as if, a piece of your body was severed and was put in my lap! The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: You saw well - Fatima will give birth, God willing, a boy so he will be in your lap. Then Fatima gave birth to al-Hussain and he was in my lap - just as the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said. So I entered one day on the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and put him in his lap, but I noticed that the eyes of the Messenger of Allah (SAW) pouring tears! So I said: Oh! Prophet of Allah, my parents are your ransom, what is with you? He said: Gabriel (AS) came to me and informed me that my nation (ummah) will kill this son of mine.” [6]
Umm Salamah has said: "al-Hussain entered on the Prophet (SAW), while I was sitting at the door, so I saw in the hand of the Prophet (SAW) something he turned over while (Hussain) sleeping on his stomach. I said: Oh messenger of Allah, I looked and saw you turning something over in your hand when the kid was sleeping on your stomach and your tears were pouring? He said: Gabriel came to me with the sand upon which he (Hussain) will be killed. And he informed me that my nation (umma) will kill him." [7]
Ibn Saad, Ali bin Muhammad, Yahya bin Zakariya, a man heard it from 'Amir al-Sha'bi say: "When Ali (as) passed by Karbalaa in his march to Siffien and lined up with Nainawa - a village on the Euphrates - he stopped and called one of them men: Tell aba 'Abdullah (al-Hussain ) what this land is called? He said: Karbala. Then he cried until the earth was wet from his tears. He then said: I entered on the messenger of Allah (s) and he was crying. So I said: What makes you cry? He said: Gabriel was with me, just now, and informed me: that my son al-Hussain will be killed at the banks of Furat in a location called Karbala. Then Gabriel grabbed a handful of dirt and let me smell it. So I could not help it, my eyes overflowed." [8] From this tradition (hadith) we can see that Imam al-Ali (AS) also wept for Imam al-Hussain (AS). There are more traditions showing that the Holy Prophet (SAW) wept for Imam al-Hussain (AS). [9] Umm Salamah, the wife of the Holy Prophet (SAW) also wept for Imam al-Hussain (AS).[10] Even the Jinns mourned Imam al-Hussain (AS)'s death, it has been reported that after Imam al-Hussain (AS)'s martyrdom, Umm Salamah said: "I heard the Jinns mourning for al-Hussain.” [11]

🔸 Sixth: The type, value, and conditions of what should be paid of Zakat al-Fitra.
Zakat al-Fitra should be given about three kilos per head of wheat or barley or dates or raisins or rice or millet etc.
It is also sufficient if he pays the price of one of these items in cash. As per obligatory precaution, he should not give from that food which is not staple in his place, even if it be wheat, barley, dates or raisins.
It is necessary that wheat or any other thing which a person gives as fitrah is not mixed with another commodity or dust, and if it is mixed, but in its pure form it equals a sa’a (about 3 kilos) and the quantity of the thing mixed with it is negligible or usable, there is no harm in it.
If a person gives fitrah from a thing which is inferior or defective, it will not be sufficient.
🔸 Seventh:The rulings of payment
🔹 Time of Payment
It is not correct to give fitrah before the month of Ramadhan, and it is better that it should not be given even during the month of Ramadhan. However, if a person gives loan to a poor person before Ramadhan, and adjusts the loan against fitrah, when payment of fitrah becomes obligatory, there is no harm in it.
🔹 Deadline for the Payment
If a person offers Eid ul fitr prayers, he should, on the basis of obligatory precaution, give fitrah before Eid prayers. But if he does not offer Eid prayers, he can delay giving fitrah till Zuhr.
🔹 Delivery time
If a person sets aside fitrah from his main wealth, and does not give it to a person entitled to receive it till Zuhr of Eid day, he should make Niyyat of fitrah as and when he gives it.
If a person does not give fitrah at the time when its payment becomes obligatory, and does not also set it aside, he should give fitrah later on the basis of precaution, without making the Niyyat of ada or qadha.
🔸 Eighth: Exchanging the Amount Earmarked for Zakat al-Fitr
If a person sets aside fitrah, he cannot take it for his own use, and replace it with another sum or thing.
🔸 Ninth: How to Deliver Zakat al-Fitra
It is not necessary that the poor to whom fitrah is given should know that this is as Zakat al-Fitra.

So, he noticed the deviant situation of the nation, because the rule prevailing at that time damaged the humanitarian aspect of the people who used to love Imam Al-Husein peace be with him and his family, but at the same time, they were fighting to earn money or obtain a certain position in the authority, such as Omar Bin

Fasting According to Five Islamic Schools of Law (Part 02)
By: Āyatollāh Allameh Muhammad Jawad Maghniyya
Translated from the Arabic by Mujahid Husayn
—————————————-
4. Travel, provided the conditions necessary for salat al-qasr, as mentioned earlier, are fulfilled as per the opinion of each school. The four Sunni schools add a further condition to these, which is that the journey should commence before dawn and the traveler should have reached the point from where salat becomes qasr before dawn. Hence if he commences the journey after the setting in of dawn, it is haram for him to break the fast, and if he breaks it, its qada’ will be wajib upon him without a kaffarah.
The Shafi’is add another condition, which is that the traveler should not be one who generally travels continuously, such as a driver. Thus if he travels habitually, he is not entitled to break the fast. In the opinion of the four Sunni schools, breaking the fast is optional and not compulsory. Therefore, a traveler who fulfills all the conditions has the option of fasting or iftar. This is despite the observation of the Hanafis that performing salat as qasr during journey is compulsory and not Optional.
The Imamis say: If the conditions required for praying qasr are fulfilled for a traveler, his fast is not acceptable. Therefore, if he fasts, he will have to perform the qada’ without being liable to kaffarah. This is if he starts his journey before midday, but if he starts it at midday or later, he will keep his fast and in the event of his breaking it will be liable to the kaffarah of one who deliberately breaks his fast.
And if a traveler reaches his hometown, or a place where he intends to stay for at least ten days, before midday without performing any act that breaks the fast, it is wajib upon him to continue fasting, and in the event of his breaking it he will be like one who deliberately breaks his fast.
5. There is consensus among all the schools that one suffering from a malady of acute thirst can break his fast, and if he can carry out its qada’ later, it will be wajib upon him without any kaffarah, in the opinion of the four schools. In the opinion of the Imamis, he should give a mudd by way of kaffarah. The schools differ in regard to acute hunger, as to whether it is one of the causes permitting iftar, like thirst. The four schools say: Hunger and thirst are similar and both make iftar permissible. The Imamis state: Hunger is not a cause permitting iftar except where it is expected to cause illness.
6. Old people, men and women, in late years of life for whom fasting is harmful and difficult, can break their fast, but are required to give fidyah by feeding a miskeen for each fast day omitted: similarly a sick person who does not hope to recover during the whole year. The schools concur upon this rule except the Hanbalis, who say: Fidyah is mustahabb and not wajib.
7. The Imamis state: Fasting is not wajib upon one in a swoon, even if it occurs only for a part of the day, unless where he has formed the niyyah of fasting before it and recovers subsequently, whereat he will continue his fast.

PROPHET'S HISTORIC GHADIR SERMON
PART Xl

🔸The Prophet never took the same route back.
💠From Mūsā ibn ʿImrān ibn Bazīʿ who said: I said to al-Riḍā: “May I be your ransom! The people have narrated that when the Noble Prophet went using one route, he would return using another. Was it [really] like this?”
📍He said: “Yes, and I do this myself many times – so you should [also] do it.” Then he said to me: “Because it will bring you more sustenance.”
🔸The Prophet was social about a variety of subjects.
💠In al-Makārim: From Zayd ibn Thābit who said: “When we were seated with him, if we started talking about the Hereafter he started speaking about it, and if we started talking about this world, he too would talk about it, and if we spoke about food and drink, he would also speak about that.”
🔸The Prophet was firm on his promises.

🔸The Prophet would shorten his prayers when someone was in his presence.
💠When someone came to sit with him while he was praying, he would shorten the prayer and turn to him saying: “Do you need something?”
🔸The Prophet never really sat criss cross. And he never reserved a special spot for himself in gatherings.
💠Most of the time, he sat placing both his legs upright [and clasping them with his arms]. He would sit [in the first empty space] at the end of the assembly, and would mostly sit facing the Qiblah.
🔸The Prophet liked simple, fresh, and nutritious foods.
💠He used to eat cucumbers with fresh dates and salt. The fruits that he liked the most were watermelons and grapes, and most of his meals consisted of water and dry dates. He sometimes had dry dates with milk and he called these ‘the two good nourishments.’
🔸The meat he enjoyed most was lamb.
💠The food that he liked the most was meat and he would eat ‘Tharīd’ (a dish of soup and sopped bread) with meat. He also liked pumpkin. From the cooked foods, he liked the gourd. From the condiments, he liked vinegar. From the dates, he liked the ‘Ajwah’ (a variety of dates grown in al-Madīnah) and from the vegetables he liked endive, chicory and purslane.

Prophet Mohammad’s Sermon of Sha’bāniyeh (peace be with him and his Progeny) خطبه شعبانيه
Part One
It has been reported from Imām Aba-l Hassan Ali ibn Mūsa-r Redha who narrated from his fathers from the leader of the believers Ali ibn-e Abi Talib (peace be with them) who said:
“One day the messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and his progeny) addressed us and said:
‘O’ people! Indeed ahead of you is the blessed month of Almighty God;
A month of blessing, mercy and forgiveness. A month which with Allah is the best of months;
Its days, the best of days, its nights, the best of nights, and its hours, the best of hours. It is the month during which you are invited to be the guests of God and you are placed to be from people of Allah’s dignity
Each breath you take glorifies him; your sleep is worship, your deeds
are accepted and your supplications are answered.
So, invoke Allah, your Lord, with honest intentions and pure hearts to grant you success in fasting and reciting his Book in this month.
Therefor miserable is certainly the one who is deprived of Allah's forgiveness in this great month.
Remember the hunger and thirst of the day of Judgment with your hunger and thirst (while fasting); give alms to the needy and poor, Pay respect to your elders, have sympathy for your youngsters and maintain relations with your blood relatives.
Guard your tongues, close your eyes to the impermissible for your sight, close your ears to that which is forbidden to hear, show compassion and kindness to the orphans of people so compassion may be shown to your orphans.
Repent to Allah for your sins
and supplicate with raised hands at the times of prayer as these are the best times, during which Allah Almighty looks at His servants with mercy. And raise your hands to supplicate at the times of prayers for they are the best of times during which Allah the Almighty and Glorious looks towards His servants with mercy, answering them if they supplicate, responding them if they call Him, granting them if He is asked, and accepting if they entreat.
O People!
Indeed your souls are dependent on your deeds, so make it free by invoking Almighty God for forgiveness (Esteghfār). Your backs are heavily loaded from your sins, so lighten their loads by long prostrations. And know that Allah swears by His might that:
There is no punishment for the one who prays and prostrates and He shall not appall them from Hellfire on the day when man stands
before the Lord of the Worlds (the Doomsday).
O People! One who gives food after the sunset (Iftaar) to a fasting believer during this month will be like one who has freed a slave and his past sins will be forgiven.’
Some of the people who were there then asked the Prophet (God bless him and his progeny):
'Not all of us are able to invite those who are fasting?'
The Prophet replied: 'Keep yourself away from Hell-fire though it may consist of (even) half of a dried date or some water (if you have nothing else)'.
O’ People! One who has good morals (Akhlaq) during this month will be able to pass the bridge to Paradise (Siraat) on the day when feet will tend to slip. For anyone who during this month eases the workload of his servants, God will make easy his accounting, and for anyone who doesn't hurt others during this month, God will safeguard him from His Wrath on the Day of Judgment.
As for one who honors (take care) of an orphan during this month; God will honor him on that Day.
And for the one who treats his blood relatives (and connects ties with them) during this month, God will bestow His Mercy on him on that Day.
As for the one who cuts the ties of relation with his blood relatives; God will cut and keep away His mercy from him.
Whosoever performs recommended prayers in this month God will save him from Hell-fire. And whoever offers an obligatory prayer during this month, his reward will be seventy times the reward during other months.

Guidance for fasting,
Sahari (Sohūr) and Iftār from Naturopathic Islamic teachings according to the sayings of infallible Prophet and his Progeny (peace and blessings with them)
💠 1. Those who suffer from fasting with stomachache should eat some salt and thyme when they do Sahari, and when doing Iftār should drink warm water with honey, and have a composition of sea-salt, aniseed (or it's water), thyme, and (little bit of) blackseed (separately) before and after the meal.
💠 2. Try not to sleep after Sahari until sunrise.
💠 3. Sick people and other patients who do not have a problem with fasting can fast. If you have a problem and you're likely to be ill, then do not fast.
💠 4. Try to use the vegetables and green herbs (cooked and uncooked) at the time of Sahari and Iftār, eating too much meat is not recommended in Islam. If you want to consume meat, eat lamb, not beef or chicken.
💠 5. At the meal of Sahari, try to eat oatmeal or barleys flour with dates, as it protects you from dehydration and gives you energy (and health).
Master of believers Imām Ali (peace be with him) says : the best Sahari is mixture of barley flour (cooked and soaked in water or milk) with dates.
💠 6. If you want to prevent your mouth from bad smell and wish to decrease it while fasting, then brush your teeth with Arak-wood brush. And after Sahari wash your mouth with salty water.
💠 7. At the time of Iftār try to start iftar with dates. The rewards of fasting will also will be four hundred times higher. And Iftār with a cup of warm water is beneficial for the health.
💠 8. It is necessary for all people to have Sahari, in addition it also has special rewards.
💠 9. Avoid eating at two times when you wish to break fast. Eat the Iftār and dinner as one simple and complete meal.
💠 10. Try not to use sweets made of artificial sweeteners (like white sugar). Instead use home made sweets made with raw organic (non gmo) sweeteners like raw cane sugar, raw unprocessed honey, dates, juices etc. especially (Halvah; Prepared with wheat and barley with organic ghee). These are recommended in our traditional sayings of prophet and Ahlulbayt.
💠 11. People who have digestive and renal diseases, or are diabetics are already undergoing treatment with Islamic medicine simply by fasting, as fasting is a fundamental remedy.
💠 12. At the meal of Sahari and Iftār, you can use soups of wheat and barley, or soups with oatmeal, rice milk (feerni) with raw organic cow milk.
💠 13. For use of oil, use organic ghee (from cow milk), or ghee made of lamb’s fat, sesame seed oil and olive oil for all uses.
💠 14. For use of sweeteners Instead of using industrial white sugar replace it with raw organic cane sugar, use dates, honey, fig, dried berries and raisins and home made organic seasonal fruits and its juices.
💠 15. Try to use sherbet of Imām Redha (peace be with him) or sherbet of berries, apple juice sherbet, quince sherbet, sherbet and saffron and drink from these.
@AbodeofWisdom
🍁 Imām Šādiq (peace be with him) also said: The last messenger of Allah (peace be with him and his progeny) used to do his Iftār with sweets (dates or sweets made of dates and raw cane sugar), and if not, he used to break his fast with warm water, because it has many benefits to the body, including:
🍃 01) Cleaning the liver
🍃 02) freshens your mouth
🍃 03) Strengthens the teeth
🍃 04) Enhances the eyesight
🍃 05) Washes the intestines
🍃 06) Relaxes the veins that are stressed
🍃 07) Fixes the bile
🍃 08) Eliminates the mucus
🍃 09) Cools down the heat of stomach
🍃 10) Relieves headaches

✅Did You Know...
💠In al-Makārim: From Abū ʿAbdillāh who said: “The Noble Prophet had promised someone [that he would meet him] next to a large rock and said: ‘I will wait here for you until you come.’
📍Then the scorching sun became difficult for him to bear, so his companions said to him: ‘O Prophet of Allāh! Why don’t you come into the shade?’
📍He said: ‘I promised to meet him right here and if he does not come, he will be answerable for it.’
🔸The Prophet never said “No”.
💠In al-Biḥār from Daʿawāt al-Rawāndī: From Amīr al-Muʾminīn who said: “When the Noble Prophet was asked [to do] something, if he wanted to do it he would say ‘yes’ and if he did not want to do it he would remain silent. He would never say ‘no’ to anything.”
🔸The Prophet enjoyed time to himself (for reflection).
💠In al-Biḥār: From Abū al-Ḥasan al-Bakrī in the book al-Anwār: “The Noble Prophet used to like solitude.”
🔸The Prophet licked his fingers and never burped before others.
💠When he sat to eat, he would sit with humility, and he would lick his fingers [after eating] and he never belched – ever. He would accept the invitation of the free man and the slave alike, even if it was only for the foreleg or trotters [of sheep].
He would eat the meat of hunted animals but would not hunt himself. He [sometimes] used to eat bread and clarified butter. From the [meat of the] sheep, he liked the foreleg and the shoulder. From the cooked foods, he liked the gourd. From the condiments, he liked vinegar. From the dates, he liked the ‘Ajwah’ (a variety of dates grown in al-Madīnah) and from the vegetables he liked endive, chicory and purslane.
🔸The Prophet always had hope for the best.
💠In al-Makārim: The Noble Prophet liked optimism and disliked foreboding.
