Meeting of the grand Ayatollah Boroujerdi with a great Eastern Philosopher and his visit of Ahlulbayt.

Late Sheikh Muhammad Sharif Rāzi has mentioned in his book “The Treasure of Scholars”:

💢 In the month of Dhi-Hajjah in 1368 hijri, I was at the house of the late Ayatollah Hojjat (RA), and the late Mirza Mahdi Āshtiyani was there.

💢 Ayatollah Borujerdi and Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Taghi Khwansāri came to see him.

💢 After the formalities and compliments, Ayatullah Hojjat said to Ayatollah Boroujerdi: Agha Mirza Mehdi Ashtiani have a beautiful Mokashefah (unveiling into the unseen) and it is appropriate if he himself narrates it.

💢 Agha Mīrza Āshtiyāni said: "I am having jaundice, and so I have been traveling abroad for treatment, but I have not been cured," he said. In 1365 (AH), when the Marxists had dominated the north and west of Iran, I visited Mashhad for pilgrimage.

💢 During the bus (ride there) I suddenly so sick that the passengers and the driver thought I had a stroke. They stopped the bus and took me out for help.

💢 Then I saw (found myself) that I was in Arafāt, and many heavenly lights were coming to the ground. And I saw that the people were attracted to one side.

💢 I asked: what's going on ? They said: Hazrat Rasoul (prophet Mohammad peace be with him and his progeny) has just arrived.

💢 I went to that side and saw few tents next to each other. The big tent belonged to the Prophet (peace be with him and his progeny). I passed over to the tent and visited the Prophet. I wanted to say about my sickness and my other anxieties and needs, but he (Prophet) said: "since you are pilgrimage of my son Reza (peace be with him), go to the tent that belongs to him” to see him.

💢 Then I went to the tent of Hazrat Imām Reza, and I mentioned three of my needs.

🔸 The first about my sickness, he said: It is destined to stay with you until you die.

🔸 Second: about the trial and corruptions of Marxists, He said: "Soon their evils will pass by. And you are all safe until you connect with (our) shrines and mourn in Majaalis of us Ahlulbayt with true recognition of us.

🔸And the third was about my personal issue. Regarding that he said: This will be done also.

Imam As-Sadiq (peace be with him) said:

إذا رَأيْتُمُ الْعَبْدَ يَتَفَقَّدُ الذُّنُوبَ مِنَ النّاسِ ناسِياً لِذَنْبِهِ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّهُ قَدْ مُكِرَبِهِ

Translation

🍃 🍃 When you see someone searching for people’s sins and censuring them, but ignoring his own sins, you shall know that he is involved in divine punishment.

🔶🔷Brief Description 🔷🔶

🌸 🌸 There are a lot of people who are very insolent, vocal and ingenious in criticizing others while they forget and ignore their own state. As the popular proverb says: they see a thorn in the foot of others, but do not see a branch in their own eyes!

🌸 🌸 Curtains of conceit and unawareness have covered the eyes of such people because they are drowned in sin, self-conceit and selfishness, and are wandering among deviated paths. Those on the right path take care of their own faults before censuring others.

💠 Much wisdom, lessons and depth lie like concealed treasures in the narration of Ahlul Bayt (as). What is the way to open oneself up to this great grace?

📍Answer by Ayatollah Fadlallah

💠 We have spoken more than once that our problem with Ahlul Bayt is that we have contained them in the prison of tragedy only! And that when we opened out the horizons, we did that in the area of miracles and miraculous favours. As for their thinking, their approach to life, their authentic prophetic line in life their comprehensive Qur’anic approach and all that they have said and moved dynamically in, which can provide answers to the questions, queries and problems from which our generation is suffering and future generations will be suffering, there is no work done that brings it out and explains it satisfactorily. We have cut them off from the dynamic movement of life and entered them in the movement of tears, therefore we have made a wide opportunity quite narrow!

You have attended, in this season, more than one gathering to mark the anniversary of Fatimah’s death. What have you heard about Fatimah al-Zahra (as)? I am here speaking in general terms, for amongst the orators there are those who bear the responsibility of enlightenment in the ways of Ahlul Bayt (as). However, most have concentrated on the tragedy and grievance. We emphasize the grievance, but this has been the grievance in the way of the Message, and not a weeping grievance. Ours is a grievance which encompasses vigor, strength, enlightenment, criticism, and confrontation.

سوال: احاديث اور روايات اھلبيت علیہم السلام ميں حکمت، حيات انساني کے ليے درس اور عميق مطالب کا ايک خزانہ پوشيدہ ہے؟ اس عظیم ذخيرہ سے استفادہ حاصل کرنے کا کیا طریقہ ہے؟

جواب: ہم اس پر بارہا گفتگو کر چکے ہيں کہ اہلبيت کي نسبت ہمارا مسئلہ يہ ہے کہ ہم نے انہيں فقط مصائب و آلام کے قيدخانہ ميں مقيد کر ديا ہے! اور جب ہم نے ان کا ذکر کيا بھي تو ان کو محض چند معجزات اور ان کي جانب سے ظاہر ہونے والے معجزاتي فوائد تک محدود رکھا ہے۔ جہاں تک ان کي فکر، نظريہ زندگي، مستند پيغمبراںہ طرز حيات، قرآن کے متعلق جامع نقطہٴ نظر، اور وہ سب جو انہوں نے فرمايا اور عمل کر کے دکھايا، اور جو ہميں اور ہماري آنے والي نسلوں کو درپيش سوالات و مسائل کا راہ حل فراہم کرسکتا ہے، ان تمام پہلووٴں کو آشکار کرنے اور تسلي بخش وضاحت کرنے کے ليے کوئي کوشش اور کام نہيں ہوا ہے۔ ہم نے اہلبيت کو ايک متحرک نظام زندگي سے قطع کرکے غم اور آنسووٴں کي ايک تحريک ميں داخل کرديا ہے، لہذا ہم نے ايک بہت وسيع اور بہترين موقع کو نہايت کوتاہ کر ديا ہے۔

آپ نے حضرت فاطمہ زھرا کي شہادت کي مناسبت سے ان ايام عزا ميں يقيناً ايک سے زيادہ مجالس ميں شرکت کي ہے۔ آپ لوگوں نے ان مجالس ميں حضرت زھرا کے متعلق کيا سنا ہے؟ ميں يہاں ايک عمومي بات کررہا ہوں، کيونکہ ذاکرين اور خطباٴ لوگوں کے سامنے اھلبيت کي راہ کو روشن انداز ميں پيش کرنے کي ذمہ داري رکھتے ہيں۔ جبکہ ان ميں سے بہت سوں نے اپني توجہ اور گفتگو کا محور فقط اھلبيت کے مصائب اور مشکلات کو قرار ديا ہے۔ ہم نے صرف مصائب پر توجہ مرکوز رکھي جبکہ يہ تبليغِ رسالت کي راہ ميں پيش آنے والے مصائب ہيں نا کہ بے مقصد گريہ و رازي والے مصائب۔ يہ مصائب ايسے ہيں جس میں جوش و ولولہ، قوت، روشن خیالی، تنقید اور طاغوت کے مقابل محاذ آرائی شامل ہے۔

💠 What is the Difference between Fatima Zahra and other women?

📍Answer by Ayatollah Fadlallah

💠 The difference is that Fatimah (peace be with her) possessed a degree of spiritual depth in her personality that made her a manifestation of the message. Most women with a mission have a commitment to the message which comes from outside of themselves. By contrast, for Fatimah (peace be with her) it came from inside her mind and heart and soul, because she lived the whole of her life with the message and under the wing of the Messenger of Allah (peace be with him and his Progeny), and then opened herself up to the full vigor of the message in the House of Ali (peace be with him), and moved dynamically in the emotion of the message with Hasan and Husain (peace be with them). Therefore, she lived the message. This is the difference between depth and shallowness. You cannot find anything in her personal life that speaks of leisure of purposelessness. This is what makes her a role model - the ultimate role model.

سوال: حضرت فاطمہ زھرا (سلام اللہ عليہا) اور دوسري عام خواتين ميں کيا فرق ہے؟

جواب: حضرت زھرؑا اور دوسري خواتين ميں يہ فرق ہے کہ وہ اپني شخصيت ميں ايک خاص روحاني اور معنوي گہرائي کي حامل تھيں، جس نے انہيں رسالت کا مظہر بنايا۔ بہت سي خواتين جو کسي مقصد کي راہ ميں کوشاں ہيں، ان کا اس مقصد سے عزم اور وابستگي ايسي ہے جو ان کي ذات کے اندر سے ظاہر نہيں ہوتي بلکہ بيروني عوامل کا نتيجہ ہيں ۔ اس کے برعکس حضرت فاطمہ زھرا عليہالسلام کے ليے يہ عزم ان کے ذھن، اور روح و قلب کے اندر سے آيا کيونکہ انہوں نے اپني تمام تر زندگي رسالت اور رسول اللہﷺ کے سائے ميں بسر کي، اور پھر اميرالمومنينؑ کے گھر ميں اپنے آپ کو اس پيغام کي تبليغ کے لئے پوري قوت کے ساتھ پيش کيا، اور اپنے بيٹوں امام حسنؑ اور امام حسينؑ کے ہمراہ ترويج رسالت کي راہ ميں جوش و ولولہ کے ساتھ متحرک رہيں۔ لہذا، حضرت زھرؑا نے اپني ذات کو رسالت ميں ضم کرکے، اس کے پيغام کو زندہ رکھا اور اس پر عمل کرکے دکھايا۔ کسي مقصد کي راہ ميں سطحي پن يا گہرائي کے ساتھ کوشش اور جدوجہد کرنے ميں يہي فرق ہے۔ کوئي شخص بھي حضرت فاطمہ زھرا سلام اللہ عليہا کي ذاتي زندگي ميں کسي بے معني فرصت اور تفریح کو تلاش نہيں کر سکتا۔ يہي چيز آپ کو ايک نمونہٴ عمل بناتي ہے- ايک حتمي اور بہترين نمونہٴ عمل!

💠 What is the Difference between Fatima Zahra and other women?

📍Answer by Ayatollah Fadlallah
