Islamic Book. — IRF, 2008. — 67 p.Ever since the dawn of human life on this planet, Man has always sought to understand Nature, his own place in the scheme of Creation and the purpose of Life itself. In this quest for Truth, spanning many centuries and diverse civilizations, organized religion has shaped human life and determined to a large extent, the course of history. While some religions have been based on books, claimed by their adherents to be divinely inspired, others have relied solely on human experience.Al-Qur’aan, the main source of the Islamic faith, is a book believed by Muslims, to be of completely Divine origin. Muslims also believe that it contains guidance for all mankind. Since the message of the Qur’aan is believed to be for all times, it should be relevant to every age. Does the Qur’aan pass this test? In this booklet, I intend to give an objective analysis of the Muslim belief regarding the Divine origin of the Qur’aan, in the light of established scientific discoveries.
A Short Story about Prayers
☁️Satan joined a traveler. When it was Fajr, the traveler did not pray. When it became Zohr and Asr, he still neglected his prayers. When it reached Maghrib and Isha, still no prayers were performed by him.
☁️When time came for sleeping, Satan told the traveler that he wouldn't sleep under one tent with him since he had purposely neglected his five daily prayers, and he feared that if a Divine punishment descends he would not be willing to get caught with him.
☁️The traveler said, "you are satan, and I am Gods servant, how can Gods anger and punishment descend on me?"
Satan replied, "I only disobeyed by rejecting to prostrate (once), not even to God but to his servant. Because of that, I was kicked out of Paradise, and am cursed until the day of Resurrection; hence you (servant of God) ignored praying from the dawn until now (night), which had several prostrations to the Creator that you did not perform. Woe upon you, whose situation is (now) worse than mine"!
💠⚡️Pillars that cannot support you in performing good deeds, spreading positivity, and loving God, you should not rely on them to take you to heaven..
🌹The Holy Messenger of God, Peace be upon him and his progeny, stated:
❌Abandoning Fajr prayer: decreases facial luminosity
❌Abandoning Zohr prayer:
wipes away blessings from sustenance
❌Abandoning Asr prayer:
weakens the body's energy
❌Abandoning Maghrib prayer:
takes away the benefit of your child
❌Abandoning Isha prayer:
eliminates the peace of mind while sleeping.

clearly illustrated how to perform it for us and how many rak’ats each prayer should be. b) Zakat. In the Qur’an, zakat has only been mentioned as an Islamic ruling. It was the Prophet who expressed which things have zakat and what the criteria for zakat becoming wajib for each one is. c) Hajj. The Qur’an says that Hajj is wajib and no more, but the Prophet has explained how it is supposed to be performed.
Therefore, it is wrong to expect to be able to find every detail in the Qur’an. So it is a big mistake not to follow the imams just because of the fact that none of their names have come in the Qur’an. That’s why no one says that noon prayers (which are 4 rak’ats) have to be prayed 2 rak’ats just because the Qur’an hasn’t mentioned how many rak’ats each prayer is.
2- In issues like this, in which there are big chances that others will disagree, it is much better for the Qur’an to express the truth implicitly rather than explicitly, otherwise there is a high possibility that they will end up denying the Qur’an as a whole. It’s very obvious that such a problem isn’t to the benefit of the Muslim ummah. Of course, the Qur’an says: “Surely we have revealed the Reminder (the Qur’an), and We will most surely be its guardian” [11], but one should remember that one of the ways of protecting the Qur’an and not letting others falsify or change it, is for it to speak in a way that others (such as the hypocrites who show that they are Muslims on the outside even though they aren’t within) don’t get sensitive and provoked. In this way, the high respect and value of the Qur’an will be kept, and certain individuals won’t think of changing or falsifying it in a way that will comply with their personal desires and wicked goals or just because they disagree with something. [12]
Shahid Ayatollah Motahhari answers this question in the following way. He says: “The answer to the question that why hasn’t Imam Ali’s khilafah and imamat been mentioned in the Qur’an, is that 1- The Qur’an usually expresses general laws. 2- The Prophet or Allah didn’t want such an issue in which people are sensitive about and prefer their own desires (to what Islam wants), to be presented explicitly, and although it wasn’t, people still went against it and falsely interpreted the Prophet’s sayings to their own benefit. In other words even if the Qur’an had clearly stated that Ali is successor to the Prophet they still would have found a way around it. The Prophet said: (Ali is his Mawla). How much more clear can one get? (Yet they interpreted what he said falsely and according to their will.)Yet there is a big difference between ignoring what the Prophet has said after him passing away regardless of all of its clarity and ignoring what the Qur’an has been completely clear about one day after his demise. That is why I have narrated in my book “Khilafah and Wilayah” that once during Imam Ali’s reign, a Jew wanted to attack and criticize the Muslim ummah for undesirable events that took place in the beginning of Islam. He told Imam Ali (and of course what he said really was a negative point) that you (the Muslim ummah) started quarreling over your prophet even before completely burying him after his death. Imam Ali answered: We argued about what he had instructed, not over the Prophet himself, but you (meaning the Jews) disregarded the most important principle of your religion which is tawhid (oneness of God), and asked your prophet to build an idol for you to worship. So there is a big difference between you and us; we didn’t argue about our prophet, we argued about what the interpretation of his saying was (and what he wanted us to do after his death). These two vary tremendously. (Motahhari goes on to say that) there is a big difference between saying that the people back then had misunderstood what the Prophet had said and saying that the Muslims back then rejected what the Qur’an had clearly stated or had falsified it.[13]
So one can say that the main reason behind not mentioning the names of the imams, or at least Imam Ali’s name, is the protection of the

✴Why do Shias prostrate on the soil?✴
Part l
🔷🔶Answer: Some people believe that prostrating to the soil (or the torbat of Karbala of the martyr Imam Husain peace be with him) means that you are some how worshipping that, and it means “shirk”.
For the answer, I should say that between these two meanings of (alsojood lellah) and (alsojood alal ardh) are differences, and the problem is that you don’t see differences between them. For sure the meaning of the first is that prostrating is only for Allah, and the second is prostrate on the soil.
And in other words we prostrate on the soil to worship Allah. All the Muslims worldwide prostrate on something, while their prostrating is only for Allah. So till now we understand that prostrating on the soil, plants and… means worshipping Allah and doesn’t mean worshipping that certain thing.
God's last Prophet Mohammad (peace be with him and his progeny) said: “The earth is the place to prostrate on and it is a place to get clean for me.”(1)
And also Allah tells us in the Qor'an:” To Allah prostrates whoever there is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and their shadows at sunrise and sunset.” (2)
So prostrating to the soil is not something unusual and it actually shows the humility of mankind.
So now it’s good to point out to one of the hadith of our Imam Sadiq (peace be with him):
”Hesham bin Hakam asked Imam Sadiq: what is the correct thing, we have to prostrate on ?
Imam replied: prostrating is only correct on the soil and what grows on it (except the things we eat and the things we wear)
So I (Hesham) asked why?
He replied: prostrate is humility in front of Allah and so it is not good to prostrate to the things we eat and we wear because the people who worship the world (love the world a lot) are the slaves of food and clothes while the one who prostrates is only worshipping Allah so it is better to put our forehead on the soil and not on what the world worshippers love”.(3)
And prostrating to the soil is better because with the humility and lowliness towards Allah it is a better form.
So now there will be another question, why are Shia bounded to prostrating to soil or to some plants and doesn’t prostrate to anything else?
As the answer we should say that as the base of any worship should be originated from Islamic law, the conditions of its parts as well should be clear by prophet’s Sonnat (tradition) because messenger of God as mentioned in Quran is model and sample for all pious human beings.
Now we will bring some narration and evidences from tradition (Sonnat) of last Prophet Muhammad (peace be with him and his progeny). He always used to prostrate on soil or on some plants like palm’s bast mat exactly in the same manner that Shia believe.

Overcoming Peer Pressure
(Part One)
While growing up, we encounter diverse groups of people, ideologies, and environments from a very young age, many of which contrast with what we have learned and seen at home. Starting with school, we may meet other children from various backgrounds who have had a different upbringing. It can be difficult to confront ideologies or ways of life that are dissimilar from our own, and at times we feel a pressure to conform to the ideals of others to “fit in.” As human beings, it is our inherent desire to belong to someone or something that, sometimes, forces us to forego our own ideals and cave in to peer pressure.
The Adolescent Years
The adolescent years are an integral part of an individual’s life. During this stage, teenagers are extremely impressionable and susceptible to outside influences, whether good or bad. It is during this time that friendships become more exclusive and intimate and parents begin to fear that their child may fall prey to negative influences and reject their family values and beliefs. It is crucial to surround yourself with influences that will make you a better person. Imam Ali (p) is reported to have said, “Beware of befriending corrupt people, immoral people, and those who openly commit acts of disobedience to God.”1 During these formative years, you should befriend those who are not only on the right path themselves but who encourage you to be steadfast in your faith and unyielding to damaging external influences. Influences, such as the one Imam Ali (p) mentions, should be approached with caution. A bad influence will eventually lead you astray.
The Positives of Peer Pressure
Peer pressure is not always bad; sometimes, it can be very beneficial. For example, if you have a group of friends who work hard in school, go to the mosque regularly, or avoid backbiting, then that will most likely influence you to do the same. Sometimes friends can persuade us to do things that vastly improves our lives and have a positive impact. It can be something like becoming more physically and socially active or avoiding alcohol or drugs. It all comes down to who you surround yourself with. If the most assertive or influential person in a friendship circle has a positive agenda, everyone else in that friendship circle will follow suit and maintain that positive agenda as well.2
Parents and Peer Influence
One thing that can counteract peer pressure is having an amicable relationship with one’s parents. Teens tend to be less inclined to fall for peer influence, if they have a strong bond with their parents and can look to them for a solid support system. When youth have a great relationship with their parents, often they do not feel compelled to fit in or please their friends or peers.2 A strong and healthy parent-child bond mitigates outside influences, because most children and teenagers look to their parents for guidance and validation.
Best Ways to Overcome Peer Pressure
Just Say No – As cliché as it sounds, saying “No”, when urged to do something that you are not comfortable doing, is very effective. Be persistent and headstrong in your faith and morals. Narrations tell us that Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (p) said, “The believer is stronger than a mountain, for a mountain can be lessened whereas the faith of a believer cannot be lessened.”3

🔵 Ayatollah Sayyed Sharafoddin Jebel Ameli, the author of the book ‘Al-Murāje’āt’ says:
“A wealthy Lebanese Christian came to me and said: ‘I want to convert to Islam, what is my responsibility’?
I said: ‘perform the two unit morning (Fajr) prayers and three unit evening (Maghreb) prayers’.
He replied: ‘Muslims perform 17 units of prayers’!
I said: ‘Muslims are one bit stronger, and for this the Prophet of Islam, as per history, used to assign two units of the morning prayer and three units of evening prayers; now that you have become Muslim, performing these should suffice for now’.
Slowly, this newly converted Muslim became stronger, and started to perform all five prayers at the masjid.
When Ramadhan approached, he rushed to me and said: ‘must I also fast’?
I said: ‘no, that’s for those who’ve remained Muslim for a while. The Muslims in early Islam were commissioned to fast after a long period following the emergence of the Prophet.
He said: ‘I want to fast’.
I answered: ‘fast to the extent to which you are able to’.
This became the reason that he fasted the whole month of Ramadhan in the second year. Now, he is one of the firmest Muslims of Lebanon, who never abandons his midnight prayers, and has (been privileged with) one of the most significant budgets and (is able to) supply the financial deficiencies of south Lebanon”.

Zakat-e Fitra is obligatory (Wajib) on the individual who is an adult, sane and financially capable.
Zakat-e Fitrah should be set aside on the eve preceding Eid-e Fitr day and be paid on the day itself, which marks the first day of the month of Shawwal. It may also be paid earlier to the poor/needy mominin, or to who will take the responsibility to distribute zakat-e fitrah during eid day to the needy/poor mominin. It is not necessary that the poor/needy to whom fitrah is given should know that this is as zakat-e fitrah.
From the time of sunset on the night preceding Eid day (last night of month of Ramadhan), until next day before Eid prayers (maximum delay in giving fitrah is till Zohr), person should give zakat-e fitrah with the only intention of “Qorbatan Ila-llah”, that is, to comply with the pleasure of Almighty Allah. He should give, for himself as well as on behalf of all those who are his dependents (even if one’s child is born before the sunset), about three kilos per head of wheat or barley or dates or raisins or rice or millet etc.
It is also sufficient if he pays the price of one of these items in cash. It is necessary that wheat or any other thing which a person gives as fitrah is not mixed with another commodity, dust, sand gravels, and if it is mixed, but in its pure form it equals about 3 kilos, and the quantity of the thing mixed with it is negligible or usable, there is no harm in it. If a person gives fitrah from a thing which is inferior or defective, it will not be sufficient.
It is not correct to give fitrah before the month of Ramadhan, and it is better that it should not be given even during the month of Ramadhan. However, if a person gives loan to a poor/needy momin person before Ramadhan, and adjusts the loan as fitrah on the night of preceding Eid day until eid-e fitr prayers, as to be used in the Eid day (when payment of fitrah becomes obligatory), there is no harm in it.
If a person does not give fitrah at the time when its payment becomes obligatory, and does not also set it aside, he should give fitrah later on the basis of precaution.

🔷Worship of the wise vs Worship of the ignorant 🔷
✅Imam ‘Ali (peace be with) said:
“The worship that is NOT based on understanding is like a donkey walking around a mill, in that how much it walks, it still doesn’t go anywhere and remains in its first place.
Two units of prayer performed by the man of understanding is better than seventy rakat of worship by the ignorant.
Hence, when trials and corruption confront the wiseman, He navigates out of it by means of his knowledge (and understanding).
However, when trials confront the ignorant, it misguides and mislead him (and eventually destroys him) as a result of his ignorance (and lack of understanding).
Little action based on much knowledge and wisdom is greater than lots of action based on little to none wisdom and knowledge, which is also accompanied with doubt and uncertainty, and as a result truth and falsehood mix and mistakes occur.
Commentary:
{A trial could be a good happening or bad happening, in both options if a person handles it according to Godly-Values, he passes it successfully. But if he couldn’t handle it according to Godly-values, then the trial will take him down and might destroy his faith, religion, and humanistic-values}

{ایک آزمائش، اچھی اور بری دونوں طرح کی ہو سکتی ہے، دونوں صورتوں میں اگر ایک شخص انکا مقابلہ الہی اقدار کے مطابق کرتا ہے تو وہ کامیابی سے گزر جاتا ہے۔ لیکن اگر وہ انکا مقابلہ الہی اقدار کے مطابق نہیں کرسکا تو وہ آزمائشیں اسے ناکام کر دیں گی اور اس شخص کا ایمان، دین اور انسانی اقدار بھی ختم کر سکتی ہیں۔}

Questions about Jesus (01)
1. Do Muslims believe that Jesus was a Messenger of God?
YES ! Belief in all of the Prophets and Messengers of God, which according to Islamic sources number 124,000, is a fundamental article of faith in Islam.
Thus, believing in Prophets Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, David, Jacob, Jesus, Moses, and Muhammad (peace and blessings with them) is a prerequisite for anyone wanting to call him or herself a Muslim. A person claiming to be a Muslim who, for instance, denies the Messengership of Jesus, is not considered a Muslim.
In regards to the status of Jesus as a Messenger, the Qor’ān says: “Say, ‘We have faith in God, and that which has been sent down to us, and that which was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, and that which Moses and Jesus were given, and that which the prophets were given from their Lord; we make no distinction between any of them, and to Him do we submit.’” (Qor’ān 2:136)

🌲"There was a gentleman called Dr. Klaus who was a psychiatry professor. He was a German. He was asking me what makes religion a necessary part of human life.
🌲I told him, "I will open this book and place a finger on a word, for example the word "is" ".
🌲I put my finger on that word and asked him, "does this word know the words that come before it or after it?"
🌲He said: "no".
🌲I said, "do you think this two-letter word 'is', meaning 'to be' is aware of what the book is about?"
🌲He said, "no, they are two impressions of ink made on a page of paper".
🌲I said, "if you want to live like this word 'is', not knowing what its past or future is, or where it exists in the book or whether that book has any meaning or not, or how many chapters and volumes it is and so on, then you don't need religion.
🌲But if you want to live a life where you understand who you are, where you have come from, to where you have come, who the people around you are, where you are going, and why you have come, it's only religion that can answer these questions".

✳️ The Muslim 500: The World’s 500 Most Influential Muslims, 2021
🔸This publication sets out to ascertain the influence some Muslims have on this community, or on behalf of the community. Influence is: any person who has the power (be it cultural, ideological, financial, political or otherwise) to make a change that will have a significant impact on the Muslim world or Muslims. Note that the impact can be either positive or negative, depending on one's point of view of course. The influence can be of a religious scholar directly addressing Muslims and influencing their beliefs, ideas and behaviour, or it can be of a ruler shaping the socio-economic factors within which people live their lives, or of artists shaping popular culture.

💠💠💠﷽💠💠💠
🔷🔶1536. In Eid ul Azha, it is Mustahab that the above mentioned takbirs be said after ten prayers, of which the first is the Zuhr prayers of Eid day and the last is the Fajr of 12th Zillhajj. It is also Mustahab that after the above mentioned takbirs, the following be recited: "Allahu Akbar 'ala ma razaqana min bahimatil an 'am, wal hamdu lil lahi ala ma ablana". If, a person happens to be in Mina on the day of Eid ul Azha, it is Mustahab that he should say these takbirs after fifteen prayers, of which the first is Zuhr prayers of Eid day, and the last is the Fajr prayers of the 13th of Zillhajj.
🔷🔶1537. The recommended precaution is that women should avoid going to offer Eid prayers. This precaution does not apply to elderly women.
🔷🔶1538. Like in all other prayers, the follower should recite everything in the Eid prayers, except Surah al-Hamd and the other Surah.
🔷🔶1539. If a follower joins the prayers at a time when the Imam has already said some takbirs, he should, while the Imam performs Ruku, say all the takbirs and qunut which he has missed, and it will be sufficient if in each qunut he says: Subhanallah or Alhamdu lillah only.
🔷🔶1540. If a person joins the Eid prayers when the Imam is in Ruku, he can make niyyat, say the first takbir of the prayers, and then go into Ruku.
🔷🔶1541. If a person forgets one Sajdah in Eid prayers, he should perform it after the prayers. Similarly, if something takes place for which a Sajadatus Sahv would be necessary after daily prayers, it will also be necessary after the Eid prayers.
