Path of Erfan through living life
🟩One day, a snake somehow made its way inside an ironsmith’s shop. There was nothing of the snake’s interest there, its body got slightly bruised after hitting a hand saw. The snake turned around and bit the saw in desperation, its mouth started bleeding. The snake then wrapped itself around the hand saw and tried to kill it by strangling it.
🟩Next day, when the ironsmith opened his shop he found a dead snake wrapped around a hand saw that had died only because of its own anger and stubbornness.
🟩Sometimes when in anger we try to hurt others but soon after we realize that we had inflicted even more damage to ourselves. We need to simply ignore certain things, people, events, deeds and comments to live a good and content life.
🟩Get used to the habit of ignoring, because it is not necessary to show reaction to every action. Some reactions will not only harm us but they may even take our lives.
🟩The greatest strength is patience.

✳️ The Muslim 500: The World’s 500 Most Influential Muslims, 2021

🔸This publication sets out to ascertain the influence some Muslims have on this community, or on behalf of the community. Influence is: any person who has the power (be it cultural, ideological, financial, political or otherwise) to make a change that will have a significant impact on the Muslim world or Muslims. Note that the impact can be either positive or negative, depending on one's point of view of course. The influence can be of a religious scholar directly addressing Muslims and influencing their beliefs, ideas and behaviour, or it can be of a ruler shaping the socio-economic factors within which people live their lives, or of artists shaping popular culture.

Prophet Mohammad’s Sermon of Sha’bāniyeh (peace be with him and his Progeny)
Part One

It has been reported from Imām Aba-l Hassan Ali ibn Mūsa-r Redha who narrated from his fathers from the leader of the believers Ali ibn-e Abi Talib (peace be with them) who said:

“One day the messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and his progeny) addressed us and said:
‘O’ people! Indeed ahead of you is the blessed month of Almighty God;

A month of blessing, mercy and forgiveness. A month which with Allah is the best of months;

Its days, the best of days, its nights, the best of nights, and its hours, the best of hours. It is the month during which you are invited to be the guests of God and you are placed to be from people of Allah’s dignity

Each breath you take glorifies him; your sleep is worship, your deeds
are accepted and your supplications are answered.

So, invoke Allah, your Lord, with honest intentions and pure hearts to grant you success in fasting and reciting his Book in this month.

Therefor miserable is certainly the one who is deprived of Allah's forgiveness in this great month.
Remember the hunger and thirst of the day of Judgment with your hunger and thirst (while fasting); give alms to the needy and poor, Pay respect to your elders, have sympathy for your youngsters and maintain relations with your blood relatives.
Guard your tongues, close your eyes to the impermissible for your sight, close your ears to that which is forbidden to hear, show compassion and kindness to the orphans of people so compassion may be shown to your orphans.

Repent to Allah for your sins
and supplicate with raised hands at the times of prayer as these are the best times, during which Allah Almighty looks at His servants with mercy. And raise your hands to supplicate at the times of prayers for they are the best of times during which Allah the Almighty and Glorious looks towards His servants with mercy, answering them if they supplicate, responding them if they call Him, granting them if He is asked, and accepting if they entreat.

O People!
Indeed your souls are dependent on your deeds, so make it free by invoking Almighty God for forgiveness (Esteghfār). Your backs are heavily loaded from your sins, so lighten their loads by long prostrations. And know that Allah swears by His might that:
There is no punishment for the one who prays and prostrates and He shall not appall them from Hellfire on the day when man stands
before the Lord of the Worlds (the Doomsday).

O People! One who gives food after the sunset (Iftaar) to a fasting believer during this month will be like one who has freed a slave and his past sins will be forgiven.’

Some of the people who were there then asked the Prophet (God bless him and his progeny):

'Not all of us are able to invite those who are fasting?'

The Prophet replied: 'Keep yourself away from Hell-fire though it may consist of (even) half of a dried date or some water (if you have nothing else)'.

O’ People! One who has good morals (Akhlaq) during this month will be able to pass the bridge to Paradise (Siraat) on the day when feet will tend to slip. For anyone who during this month eases the workload of his servants, God will make easy his accounting, and for anyone who doesn't hurt others during this month, God will safeguard him from His Wrath on the Day of Judgment.

As for one who honors (take care) of an orphan during this month; God will honor him on that Day.

And for the one who treats his blood relatives (and connects ties with them) during this month, God will bestow His Mercy on him on that Day.

As for the one who cuts the ties of relation with his blood relatives; God will cut and keep away His mercy from him.

Whosoever performs recommended prayers in this month God will save him from Hell-fire. And whoever offers an obligatory prayer during this month, his reward will be seventy times the reward during other months.

Prophet Mohammad’s Sermon of Sha’bāniyeh (peace be with him and his Progeny)
Part Two

And whosoever repeatedly invokes Allah's blessings on me (salawāt), Allah will keep his scale of good deeds heavy, while the scales of others will be tending to lightness.

He who recites one verse of the Qur'ān will be given the rewards
of reciting the whole Qur'ān during other months.

O people! The gates of Paradise and Heaven remain open during this month. Ask your Lord not to close them for you; while the gates of Hell-fires are closed, ask your Lord to keep them closed for you.

During this month devils (Satans) are imprisoned in chains. So, ask your Lord not to let them have power and domination over you.'

Amir al-Mu’menin said that ‘I stood up and asked: O’ Messenger of God, what are the best deeds during this month?'
He replied: ‘O Aba al-Hassan, the best of deeds during this month is to be far from what Allah has forbidden.'"

Then all of sudden prophet cried.
I said: ‘O Prophet of God, what is the reason for your crying?’
Prophet said: ‘O Ali, I weep for that your sanctity will be violated in this month. It is as if I see you are praying to your Lord, but one who is the most unfortunate of this nation from the first day to the end, who is the brother of the one who beheads the people of Thamud, gets up and strikes you on the head, and your beard is colored with the blood of your head.’

I said: ‘O Prophet of God, is my religion safe in that case?’
Prophet said: ‘Your religion is safe and perfect.’

Then he said: ‘O Ali, whoever kills you, has killed me, and whoever considers you an enemy, has made me an enemy, and whoever insults you, has insulted me. Because you are from me, like my soul. Your soul is from my soul and your nature is from my nature. God Almighty created me and you and chose me and you and chose me as the Prophet and you as the Imām. Whoever denies your Imamate has denied my prophethood.

O Ali, you have my authority, and you’re the father of my children (Imām Hasan and Husain), the husband of my daughter and you’re my successor over my nation, when I am alive and after my death. Your command is my command and your prohibition is my prohibition. (For what I said,) I swear by God, who chose me to prophethood and made me one of the best of creatures.’”

✍🏼Āyatollāh Shahīd Motahhari:
🔷Imām Ali (peace be with him) said as he was on the pulpit: “ask me any question before you lose me.”

🔷A man who appeared to be of an Arabian Jew stood up and said: “O person who is full of himself who claims to know something that he does not know!”

🔷Then he started to insult him despite knowing that he was the Caliph. He knew that Ali (peace be with him) was not somebody who would order that an insulter’s neck be severed.

🔷Since he boldly offended, the companions wanted to attack him. But, immediately Ali (peace be with him) prevented it, and he said: “Through force divine arguments cannot be established.” His words are intended toward me, he has questions, let him come to me and ask his questions. If I answer him he will be remorseful of his actions.

🔷The Imām intensely prevented his companions from such action against the man. With (words such as) “shut up”, “get lost”, “beat him”, “I’ll make sure you suffer the most”, and “what nonsense is this?” divine arguments cannot be established. If you want to make divine arguments then it is through compassion and gentleness because the process is though contemplation. The process is with the heart and spirit.

🌳 🌲 Tree 🌲 🌳

A poem by, Sergeant Joyce Kilmer (1886-1918)

I think that I shall never see
A poem Lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest Against the earth’s sweet breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who immediately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
