Christmas tree?

This is what the Bible says about the trees:

Jeremiah Ch 10 V 2-4

This is what the LORD says: "Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the heavens, though the nations are terrified by them.

For the practices of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel.

They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter.

🔰The reality of the "Shi'a"🔰

✔The hadith is number 34 of the book "Sifat ush-Shi'a" which directly and without any formalities explains the essence of a "Shi'a". The book is compiled by Shaykh Sadooq (may Gods mercy be with him), who was amongst the greatest foundational scholars in the preservation of the pristine path of Islam after the occultation of Imam Mahdi, may God hasten his reappearance.

📍From the Hadith we learn that 'detestation' does not manifest from the heart of a believer into the corporeal world where it would harm others. Anger is restrained and hatred is shackled. Thus a "Mu'min" is he who's shadow is a shield for others.

📍The "Shi'a" do not easily ask others for favors unless it is their own intimate brethren and companions. Thus highlighting that the "Shi'a" are those who are a band of firm brothers.

📍The "Shi'a" do not bark or speak loudly and or disrespectfully like animals towards others, weather they be arguing or wailing. Weather they be friends, or foes. Hence, they are calm and firm on the path of righteousness and nobility.

📍They do not run after pennies of wealth, nor do they have the desire to as well. Thus, they do not sell their moral values for the cheap offers of "Dunya".

📍The lives of the "Shi'a" are simple, their homes do not exceed extravagance, and they will move or relocate without any resistance if it means to maintain their position on the path of "truth". Hence, they are constantly adhered to the values of truth.

📍Whether rich or poor, they always have a fixed share of their wealth for giving to others. They care and share of the bounties that God has blessed them. Thus, they are generous.

📍The "Shi'a" are intimate and interconnected with each other, and when they pass away, will visit each other and enjoy the others presence in the graves. Thus, it illustrates the elevated rank and station of a "Shi'a" even after life in this world.

📍When asked, where are these people?

📍Imam Sadiq, peace be with him, replies: "You will find them living in the outskirts and among the marts. They are the intendeds in Allah’s saying: 'They are humble towards the believers and dignified to the unbelievers' (5:54)".

🌺May God guide all of us to the path of true values and station us on the ark of salvation in this world and the next.

The narrations encouraging believers to hold fast to the faith and not be fooled by the worldly (life) are many. However, after this introduction, we will now focus on the following points:

1-- It has become clear from what we hinted at that the Shia individual, the believer, is a caller (to the way of God) and is someone who has been entrusted in every place which he/she may reside. If this individual is vigilant in staying away from sin, and diligent in the faith which he/she practices, then (know that) lofty character and vigilance for God are not gained together except in one who has been intensely sincere to God. At that point, souls will be inclined toward him/her naturally and his/her words will be accepted. That is because his/her actions are proof of his/her words. Lost and confused souls are comforted with tranquil souls and they turn to them, even if they do not act as they act. This model of a person in humanity is prized by every society because the individual integrates within (the society) which feels safe (regarding him/her), not fearing his/her actions. Some western civilized societies, today, are vibrant with certain virtuous qualities which have become an aspect of the social norms. Such qualities are considered in selecting potential citizens. If that be the case, then the entrenchment of such qualities in the souls of believers can play a role in preferring them for citizenship. That would allow the believers to become a reason for the (various) nations (of the world) to enjoy this faith. It would lead them to things beyond what they aimed for by it. They would become aware of the true blessing of Islam, of faithful devotion to the Exalted God, the One, the All-paramount. It would become (a source of) glory for them. Granted, a believer would only do so for the motive of (seeking) awareness and worshipping God – the Exalted – because (the believer) knows that God loves these qualities; not out of duplicity, doing so for other (than God) or for other motives.

2-- Because believers in some distant, western countries must necessarily coexist and deal with the peoples of those countries – with their various religions, the predominance of weak religious values, and being busy trying to develop material gains – they must take their precautions for themselves and pay attention to specify times and places to meet one another and revive the tenets of their faith. They should nominate individuals to teach the ignorant amongst them, to guide the misguided amongst them, and to convince those who depart (from the correct faith) through the use of clear evidence and the honorable religious legal rulings. (All of that should be done) in order to bring down (the hurdles of) hardship, such that the faith becomes their friend in their (environment which is) foreign (to the faith). If they do not do this, there is a fear that they may dissolve in the midst of such societies. Their religious spirit may be lost. Following one’s whims, as well as ignorance, may dominate. Consequently, this will lead to the birth of generations amongst them who are distant from religious values. They will lose themselves, and their families and relatives along with them.

6-- There has been much clamor and fallacies regarding the view of Islam and those practicing it toward women, the way a woman is treated, what rights she has and looking into what she can do with the differing situations in life, and taking on work and (other) duties.
The first evidence to support the truth of the view held by our faith regarding the reality of a woman is that it did not forbid her from any position or rank in society, or any right in which she would be able to be just as qualified as a man. There is no default principle which sets a man ahead of a woman in the cases where the religious legal text does not clearly state that a man is to be chosen, or that the situation is specific to a man. Granted, these instances (in which the situation is specific to a man) are few and the aim in them being specific to a man is known. All of them go back to aspects dealing with religious issues in which the religious law took into account the nature of a woman which would have her incline toward safeguarding her chastity and purity, and being considerate toward her.

In all other issues dealing with the fields of knowledge, learning, gaining virtues, elevated intellectual thought, positions of production and work, a woman is on the same footing as a man. Society, including men and women, do not hesitate to refer to a woman if she excels at an aspect of some industry or science. But a woman should know the limits of her faith, her sanctity and her modest dress before entering into public positions. For, indeed, the corruption resulting from the mixing between a man and women without the religious guidelines is no secret to a rational individual. It is an obligation to observe (these limits) according to the judgment of the Exalted God, who knows the best interest of the servants.

In conclusion, we would like to note to the dear believers that our Imams and leaders (may God’s blessings be upon them), even though they were kept from their positions and ranks, they were still the pioneers in offering service and help to society. They did not hold back, may God’s blessings be upon them, from giving help (to others), or even offering advice to the oppressive government which treated them with the most severe levels of exclusion and sidelining. Hence, believers living abroad should actively participate in reforming society, offering services, and participating in choosing that which is best – that which will take everyone by the hand to the coast of safety, even if they live under the reign of a non-Islamic authority.

We ask God, the Blessed and Exalted, to grant you success and aid. May the peace, blessings and mercy of God be upon you and upon all the faithful men and women.

Letter of Imam Ali to Malik-e Ashtar
(Part Thirteen)

6. Traders and Industrialists

✅️✅️  Take some advice about traders and industrialists. Give them good counsel whether they are settled (shop-keepers) or traders or physical laborers because they are the sources of profit and the means of the provision of useful items. They bring them from distant and far-flung areas throughout the land and the sea, the plains or the mountains, from where people cannot come and to where they do not dare to go, for they are peaceful and there is no fear of rebellion from them and they are quite without fear of treason.

✅️✅️  Look after their affairs before those of your own wherever they may be in your land. Be informed, along with this, that most of them are very narrow-minded and awfully avaricious. They hoard goods for profiteering and fixing high prices for goods. This is a source of harm to the people and a blot on the officers in charge. Stop people from hoarding because the Messenger of Allah has prohibited it.

✅️✅️  The sale should be smooth, with correct weights and prices, not harm fill to either party, the seller or the buyer; whoever commits hoarding after you prohibit it, give him exemplary but not excessive punishment.

We notice in several Ayahs a call for man to look into the effects of the past people and study how they rebelled, how they failed and the chastisement Allah punished them with due to the rebellion they demonstrated against Allah and His messengers. Allah says: “Therefore travel in the land, then see what was the end of the rejecters” (16:36), and: “So how many a town did We destroy while it was unjust, so it was fallen down upon its roofs, and (how many a) deserted well and palace raised high. Have they not travelled in the land so that they should have hearts with which to understand…” (22:46) and: “Have they not travelled in the earth and seen how the end of those before them was? They were stronger than these in prowess, and dug up the earth, and built on it in greater abundance than these have built on it, and there came to them their messengers with clear arguments; so it was not beseeming for Allah that He should deal with them unjustly, but they dealt unjustly with their own souls” (30:09) and several other Ayahs.

Therefore, in his sermon, Imam Ali (a.s.) was urging us to comprehend history by studying its experiences, for he said: “You should also fear what calamities befell peoples before you”, and calamities here are the punishments they received as a result of their deviation from the straight path, “on account of their evil deeds and detestable actions”, which they carried out and led to bad results, “so remember”, as we recall the past and try to grasp its effects and situations, “during good or bad circumstances what happened to them”, meaning to study all the positions of goodness they had and their results and all the positions of evil they had and their results, so as not to pass as mere memories and rather have stands whereby we deduce the right thoughts that establish goodness in one’s life. In the end, he called on us to “be cautious that we do not become like them”; i.e. not to follow them and adopt their methodology and consequently be entrapped with what they were entrapped with and suffer from what they suffered from. He continued to say: “After you have thought over both the conditions of these people, attach yourself to everything with which their position became honorable”, explaining the elements of goodness and success and how they upheld honor that is based on strength, for there is no such thing as honor without strength, be it a spiritual strength, a physical strength or the strength of one’s stand that prevents others from offending or ending him.

“On account of which enemies remained away from them”, so try to understand what kept the enemies far from them when they saw them arming themselves with strength, as well as with dignity and honor, “through which safety spread over them”, meaning that safety was reached after trials and after offenses having acquired the elements of honor, “by reason of which riches bowed before them”, for when they communicate and complement and strengthen each other, it would be natural that all the riches will be provided for them, for they increase through the development and investment process and as one attains gains and profits here and there, “and as a result of which privilege connected itself with their rope”, where Allah privileged them and showered them with His mercy, thus attaching this privilege to them.

“These things were abstention from division, sticking to unity”, and all that happened because they rejected division which could have disrupted their society and ended their unity. Division leads to each party standing against the other with all the aggressiveness and negativity entailed. And once this happens, the enemies will make use of that to destroy the society. So, the people here avoided division and stuck to unity, whilst opening their hearts to one another.

💠The Station of 'Rida'💠
📝Shaykh Nasir al Din Tusi

God has said:
لِّكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوا بِمَا آتَاكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍ

"That you may not grieve for what escapes you, nor rejoice in what has come to you . . .” (57:23)

Rida is gratification and its fruit is love. It entails the absence of resentment, outward and inward, in the heart, in speech and action. Those who are preoccupied with the outward
(ahl-e zahir) are eager that
God, the Exalted, be pleased with them, that they may remain secure from His wrath and punishment.

The seekers of the Truth
(ahl-e haqiqat) are eager that they may remain pleased with God, the Exalted, so that none of such various states as life and death, survival and annihilation, pain and comfort, felicity and wretchedness, prosperity and poverty be contrary to their desire, leading them to prefer one of them
to the other, for their knowing that all of them are from the exalted Creator. The love of God, the Exalted, is fixed in their nature, and hence they do not seek anything beyond what
He wills and determines and are well-pleased with whatever befalls them.

It is related of one of the sages who possessed this station that in seventy years of a lifetime he never said when something happened “Had it not happened!” nor “Had it happened!” when something didn't. And a sage when asked concerning the effect of
'rida' he had found within himself answered, “I do not
find any trace of rida
within myself. Yet, if I were to be made into a bridge extending over the hell, and all of creation from the first to the last, were to pass over me into paradise and I alone were consigned to
hell, it would never occur to me why I didn't receive what others did.”

And when the equality of the different aforementioned states becomes well-established in one's nature, that which happens accords wish his real desire. Hence it has been said that `Everyone gets what he
deserves and deserves what he gets.' For one who has found the Truth, God's good-pleasure with a servant is realized when the servant's good pleasure with God is obtained:

...رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ

“...God being well-pleased with them and they well-pleased with Him” (5:119).

Hence whenever one has an objection concerning the occurrence of something, whatsoever that may
be, or when there is a probability of its coming to one's mind, one would be devoid of the station of
rida.

One who possesses the station of 'rida' is always in a state of ease, for he has no preferences or reservations, or rather his preferences accord with all that happens and doesn't happen:

...ۚ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ...

“. . . and God's good-pleasure is greater....” (9:72)

That is why the angel who is the keeper of the paradise is called
Ridwan and it has been said:

الرضا بالقضاء باب الله الأعظم

"Satisfaction with fate is the greatest door to Allah "📍
for everyone who attains to
'rida' reaches paradise and whatever he beholds is seen in the light of Divine
mercy, and:

المؤمن ينظر بنور الله الأعظم

"The believer sees with the greatest light of Allah"📍

As God, the Exalted, is the creator of all existents, were He to dislike something it would be impossible for it to come into existence. And since He has not disliked anything, [the wayfarer] is well-pleased with everything [that comes into existence], not regretting anything that doesn't occur, nor feeling elated by
that which does:

...إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ...

“Surely that is true constancy.” (31:17)

Last Prophet of God (peace be with him and his progeny) said:

Verily maidens (young virgins) are like fruit of a tree. When it’s fruit are ripen and are not reaped, sunshine ruins them and wind scatters them; maidens are in the same situation.

When they comprehend what women perceive, there is no remedy for them but husband.

If they are not given in marriage they will not be secured from corruption. Because they are human beings too. (They have the same human instinct and temperaments as others.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و آله و سلم: إن الابكار بمنزلة الثمر على الشجر إذا أدرك ثمره فلم يجتني أفسدته الشمس ونثرته الرياح وكذلك الابكار إذا أدركن ما يدرك النساء فليس لهن دواء إلا البعولة وإلا لم يؤمن عليهن الفساد لأنهن بشر

✳️Master of believers Imām Ali (peace be with him) said:
🟤Intellects are the leader of thoughts
🟤Thoughts are the leader of hearts
🟤Hearts are the leader of senses
🟤And senses are the leader of organs.

✳️اميرالمؤمنين علي سلام الله عليه:
🟣العقول ائمة الافكار،
🟣والافكار ائمة القلوب،
🟣و القلوب ائمة الحواس،
🟣والحواس ائمة الاعضاء.

✳️حضرت امير سلام الله عليه:
🔵عقل ها امام و پيشوايان انديشه هايند،
🔵و انديشه ها پيشوايان دل ها هستند،
🔵دلها امام و پيشوايان حواس (پنجگانه) اند،
🔵و حواس پيشوايان اندام هايند.
(حواس پنجگانه: ديدن، شنيدن، بوئيدن، حرف زدن و لمس كردن)

✳️مولا حضرت علي نے فرمایا:
🧿عقل، افکار کے لیے رہبر ہے۔
🧿افکار دلوں کے لیے رہبر اور امام ہیں۔
🧿دل حواس کے رہبر اور امام ہیں۔
🧿اور حواس، اعضاے بدن کے امام اور رہبر ہیں۔
(حواس پانچ قوتوں کو کہتے ہیں: دیکھنا، سننا، بولنا، سوگھنا، اور چھونے کی قوت کو)

🔸Some people believe that some things are blessed and good to be at home! But it is difficult to recognize them correctly.

❗️These blessed things are:
1️⃣Quran
Allah says in Quran:
📌 "Mubarak's book revealed to you in its verses."

2️⃣Imam Bagher (a.s):
📌 "God blessed the earth and blessed earth with a blessed and blessed land."

3️⃣olive tree
God 👇🏽
📌 "It's clear from the Mubarak tree of olives that are not eastern and not west."

4️⃣olive oil
Imam Sadiqa (a.s):
📌 "Do oiltherapy with olive oil and eat it with bread because it is the oil of the goods and the food of the elects. It is cleaned two times by Quds and is blessed at the time of coming and going.

5️⃣olive fruit
It is mentioned in numerous narratives:
📌 "Eat olive because olives are from a blessed tree."
