Letter of Imam Ali to Malik-e Ashtar
(Part Seven)

The ruler cannot acquit himself of the obligations laid on him by Allah in this matter except by striving and seeking help from Allah, by training himself to adhere to righteousness and by enduring on that account all that is light or hard.

1. The Army

🍁Put in command of your forces the man who in your view is the best well-wisher of Allah, His Prophet and your Imam. The most chaste of them in heart and the highest of them in endurance is one who is slow in getting angry, who accepts excuses, who is kind to the weak and is strict with the strong; violence should not raise his temper and weakness should not keep him sitting.

🍁Also associate with considerate people from high families, virtuous houses and decent traditions, then people of courage, valor, generosity and benevolence because they are repositories of honor and springs of virtues. Strive for their matters as the parents strive for their child.

🍁Do not regard anything that you do to strengthen them as big nor anything that you have agreed to do for them as little, even though it may be small because this would make them your well-wishers and create a good impression about you.

🍁Do not neglect to attend to their small matters. Confine yourself to their important matters because your small favors will also be of benefit to them while the important ones are such that they cannot ignore.

🍁That commander of the army should have such a status before you that he renders help to them equitably and spends from his money on them and on those of their families who remain behind so that all their worries converge on the one worry to fight the enemy.

"Truly I say to you: Your hearts are inclined to wherever your treasures are. For that reason, people like their treasures eagerly. Put your treasures in the heavens, where mites cannot reach them and thieves cannot find a way to (attain) them".

🍃🔆🍃 "O people! A month has approached you laden with blessing, mercy and forgiveness; it is a month which Almighty Allah regards as the best of all months.

🍃🔆🍃 Its days, in the sight of Almighty Allah, are the best of days, its nights are the best of nights, its hours are the best of hours.

🍃🔆🍃 It is a month in which you are invited to be the guests of Almighty Allah and you are regarded during it as worthy of enjoying Almighty Allah's generosity.

🍃🔆🍃 Your breathing in it is regarded as praising Almighty Allah and your sleep as adoration, and your voluntary acts of worship are accepted, and your pleas are answered.

🔹🍃🔹 Therefore, ask Almighty Allah your Lord, in sincere intentions and pure hearts to enable you to fast during it and to recite His Book, for only a wretch is the one who is deprived of Almighty Allah's forgiveness during this great month.

🔹🍃🔹 And let your hunger and thirst during it remind you of the hunger and thirst of the day of resurrection.

🔹🍃🔹 Give alms to the poor and indigent ones among you; surround your elderly with respect, and be kind to your youngsters.

🔹🍃🔹 Visit your kin and safeguard your tongues and do not look at what Allah has decreed as prohibitive for you to look at, and do not listen to anything your ears are forbidden from hearing. Be kind to the orphans of others, so that your own orphans will equally receive kindness.

🔹🍃🔹 Repent your sins to Almighty Allah and raise your hands to Him in supplication during the times of your prayers, for they are the best times during which Almighty Allah looks with mercy to His servants and answers their pleas when they plead Him......

💠 Ayatollah Dastaghaib Shirazi:

🌳"Do not imagine that your soul is in your head or in your heart. It is not like this. It is neither within the body nor out of it. The encirclement of soul is indeed amazing. Put your hand at any part of your body, the soul is there. It is both positive and negative. It is not in the body. It also is not
out of it.

🌳This is one of the finest (most delicate) things. Have you not experienced that sometimes if a thread or a strand of hair enters your mouth along with food it is at once detected and you push it out. Such signs pertaining to your body are there to make you realize that God encircles
and covers each and every thing and affair.

🌻“Allah is He Who created seven heavens, and of the earth the like of them; the decree continues to descend among them, that you may know that Allah has power over all things and that Allah indeed encompasses all things in (His) knowledge.” (65:12)

🌳The specimen or example is your own soul. O Man! If a snake bites at your foot, your soul knows of it at once. If a thin hair enters the body… If you ponder over the power of remembrance or learning by heart, it is unfathomable. How many things are stored in your brain!"

Share the Blessings or Hide it, But Never show it off

💌The Prophet of Mercy ﷺ said:
“Whenever you buy fruits, share it with your neighbor as a gift, otherwise bring it into your home secretly. It should never ever be the case that your child carries one of those fruits outside to eat it, and (instead) becomes a means of unhappiness for your neighbor’s child”.



💌 نبی رحمت ﷺ فرمودند
«هرگاه میوه خریدی به همسایه‌ات هدیه کن، وگرنه پنهانی وارد خانه کن؛ مبادا فرزندت با آن میوه بیرون بیاید و موجب ناراحتی فرزند همسایه شود!»



💌پيامبر رحمت اسلام ﷺ نے فرمایا: جب بہی پہل خرید کر گہر لائو تو پڑوسی کو بہی ہدیہ کرو، ورنہ چہپا کر گہر لائو۔ ہرگز ایسا کبہی نا ہو کہ تمہارا بچہ پہل لے کر باہر نکل آئے اور پڑوسی کے بچے کے لئے افسوس کا سبب بنے۔ (کیوں کہ ہو سکتا پڑوسی کے بچے کا دل چاہے وہ پہل کہانے کا اور وہ پہل اسکے گہر میں موجود نہ اور یہ بات پڑوسی کے بچے کے لیے تکلیف کا سبب بنے)۔

Why did Emam Khomeini refuse Zakerin and people of anjuman-e azadari in his presence?

“The late Ayatollah Tavassoli, who worked in the office of Āyatollāh Emam Khomeini, said that during the ten years that Emam Khomeini was in charge, different groups, guilds, and societies met with Emam Khomeini. Academics, students, workers and even sportsmen also came into his presence. [However,] when one group came and sought permission (to see him), Emam Khomeini refused to allow them to meet with him.

Emam Khomeini told Āyatollāh Tavassoli that they should not come, (meaning) the zakerin [Nouha reciters and Anjuman folks].

There are now a group of people who are related to religion but who do not have religious insight nor posses understanding. (They) are influential, and most of them follow their misunderstandings of Islam instead of following the pattern of scholarly knowledge.

(For example: most of the time when they recite poetry to mourn, it goes unchecked by seminarian scholars, which increases the likelihood that the message goes opposite to the teachings of Qor’ān and Ahlulbayt [peace be with them]. Secondly, they charge large amounts of money and thus their budgets are raised (from several known and unknown sources) to develop their work, and these serve as tools to make (pivotal self-interest) decisions (that may jeopardize the hard work of true representatives of religion) anytime needed.

(Unfortunately) In our media, the great and true scholars have the least share, while the largest share belongs to those who deal with the superficial facets of religion”.

🔴چرا امام هیچ‌وقت مداحان را به حضور نپذیرفت؟
🔴آيت الله محمد سروش‌ محلاتی:

مرحوم آیت‌الله توسلی که در دفتر حضرت امام بودند می‌فرمودند طی این ده سالی که امام در رأس بودند گروه‌های مختلف و اصناف مختلفی با امام دیدار کردند. دانشگاهیان، دانشجویان، کارگران و حتی ورزشکاران هم خدمت امام رسیدند، فقط یک گروه وقتی آمدند اجازه بگیرند امام اجازه نداد و به آقای توسلی گفته بودند این‌ها نیایند و آن گروه، مداحان بودند.

○ الان گروهی بالا آمده‌اند که ارتباط با دین دارند ولی تفقه در دین ندارند و در جامعه مبسوط الید و تأثیرگذار هم هستند. بودجه‌های کلانی برای توسعه کار خودشان می‌گیرند و این‌ها ابزارهایی هستند که در مواقعی که مورد نیاز است استفاده‌هایی از این‌ها صورت بگیرد. در رسانه‌های ما، علمای بزرگ کمترین سهم را دارند و بیشترین سهم مال کسانی است که به جنبه‌های ظاهری دین می‌پردازند.

✨Congratulations on the 42nd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution - a day that, after years of protest, struggle, and resistance, put an end to the west-backed Pahlavi monarchy in Iran. The revolution shook the world to its core not only in the political realm, but in the depths of its existence as it vibrated the pillars of monarchy under the flag of Tauhīd and by a leader whose power relied only on the divine kingdom of Allah.

42 years later, the global message of this movement still echoes in the conscious of the Haq seekers and is still alive.

🌹Let’s remember the great leader of this movement, Emam Khomeini, and his shohada on this special occasion, and pray that this revolution will be connected to the reappearance of Imame Asr.

Prophet Mohammad’s Sermon of Sha’bāniyeh (peace be with him and his Progeny) خطبه شعبانيه
Part One

It has been reported from Imām Aba-l Hassan Ali ibn Mūsa-r Redha who narrated from his fathers from the leader of the believers Ali ibn-e Abi Talib (peace be with them) who said:

“One day the messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and his progeny) addressed us and said:
‘O’ people! Indeed ahead of you is the blessed month of Almighty God;

A month of blessing, mercy and forgiveness. A month which with Allah is the best of months;

Its days, the best of days, its nights, the best of nights, and its hours, the best of hours. It is the month during which you are invited to be the guests of God and you are placed to be from people of Allah’s dignity

Each breath you take glorifies him; your sleep is worship, your deeds
are accepted and your supplications are answered.

So, invoke Allah, your Lord, with honest intentions and pure hearts to grant you success in fasting and reciting his Book in this month.

Therefor miserable is certainly the one who is deprived of Allah's forgiveness in this great month.
Remember the hunger and thirst of the day of Judgment with your hunger and thirst (while fasting); give alms to the needy and poor, Pay respect to your elders, have sympathy for your youngsters and maintain relations with your blood relatives.
Guard your tongues, close your eyes to the impermissible for your sight, close your ears to that which is forbidden to hear, show compassion and kindness to the orphans of people so compassion may be shown to your orphans.

Repent to Allah for your sins
and supplicate with raised hands at the times of prayer as these are the best times, during which Allah Almighty looks at His servants with mercy. And raise your hands to supplicate at the times of prayers for they are the best of times during which Allah the Almighty and Glorious looks towards His servants with mercy, answering them if they supplicate, responding them if they call Him, granting them if He is asked, and accepting if they entreat.

O People!
Indeed your souls are dependent on your deeds, so make it free by invoking Almighty God for forgiveness (Esteghfār). Your backs are heavily loaded from your sins, so lighten their loads by long prostrations. And know that Allah swears by His might that:
There is no punishment for the one who prays and prostrates and He shall not appall them from Hellfire on the day when man stands
before the Lord of the Worlds (the Doomsday).

O People! One who gives food after the sunset (Iftaar) to a fasting believer during this month will be like one who has freed a slave and his past sins will be forgiven.’

Some of the people who were there then asked the Prophet (God bless him and his progeny):

'Not all of us are able to invite those who are fasting?'

The Prophet replied: 'Keep yourself away from Hell-fire though it may consist of (even) half of a dried date or some water (if you have nothing else)'.

O’ People! One who has good morals (Akhlaq) during this month will be able to pass the bridge to Paradise (Siraat) on the day when feet will tend to slip. For anyone who during this month eases the workload of his servants, God will make easy his accounting, and for anyone who doesn't hurt others during this month, God will safeguard him from His Wrath on the Day of Judgment.

As for one who honors (take care) of an orphan during this month; God will honor him on that Day.

And for the one who treats his blood relatives (and connects ties with them) during this month, God will bestow His Mercy on him on that Day.

As for the one who cuts the ties of relation with his blood relatives; God will cut and keep away His mercy from him.

Whosoever performs recommended prayers in this month God will save him from Hell-fire. And whoever offers an obligatory prayer during this month, his reward will be seventy times the reward during other months.

💠 What is the Difference between Fatima Zahra and other women?

📍Answer by Ayatollah Fadlallah

💠 The difference is that Fatimah (peace be with her) possessed a degree of spiritual depth in her personality that made her a manifestation of the message. Most women with a mission have a commitment to the message which comes from outside of themselves. By contrast, for Fatimah (peace be with her) it came from inside her mind and heart and soul, because she lived the whole of her life with the message and under the wing of the Messenger of Allah (peace be with him and his Progeny), and then opened herself up to the full vigor of the message in the House of Ali (peace be with him), and moved dynamically in the emotion of the message with Hasan and Husain (peace be with them). Therefore, she lived the message. This is the difference between depth and shallowness. You cannot find anything in her personal life that speaks of leisure of purposelessness. This is what makes her a role model - the ultimate role model.

سوال: حضرت فاطمہ زھرا (سلام اللہ عليہا) اور دوسري عام خواتين ميں کيا فرق ہے؟

جواب: حضرت زھرؑا اور دوسري خواتين ميں يہ فرق ہے کہ وہ اپني شخصيت ميں ايک خاص روحاني اور معنوي گہرائي کي حامل تھيں، جس نے انہيں رسالت کا مظہر بنايا۔ بہت سي خواتين جو کسي مقصد کي راہ ميں کوشاں ہيں، ان کا اس مقصد سے عزم اور وابستگي ايسي ہے جو ان کي ذات کے اندر سے ظاہر نہيں ہوتي بلکہ بيروني عوامل کا نتيجہ ہيں ۔ اس کے برعکس حضرت فاطمہ زھرا عليہالسلام کے ليے يہ عزم ان کے ذھن، اور روح و قلب کے اندر سے آيا کيونکہ انہوں نے اپني تمام تر زندگي رسالت اور رسول اللہﷺ کے سائے ميں بسر کي، اور پھر اميرالمومنينؑ کے گھر ميں اپنے آپ کو اس پيغام کي تبليغ کے لئے پوري قوت کے ساتھ پيش کيا، اور اپنے بيٹوں امام حسنؑ اور امام حسينؑ کے ہمراہ ترويج رسالت کي راہ ميں جوش و ولولہ کے ساتھ متحرک رہيں۔ لہذا، حضرت زھرؑا نے اپني ذات کو رسالت ميں ضم کرکے، اس کے پيغام کو زندہ رکھا اور اس پر عمل کرکے دکھايا۔ کسي مقصد کي راہ ميں سطحي پن يا گہرائي کے ساتھ کوشش اور جدوجہد کرنے ميں يہي فرق ہے۔ کوئي شخص بھي حضرت فاطمہ زھرا سلام اللہ عليہا کي ذاتي زندگي ميں کسي بے معني فرصت اور تفریح کو تلاش نہيں کر سکتا۔ يہي چيز آپ کو ايک نمونہٴ عمل بناتي ہے- ايک حتمي اور بہترين نمونہٴ عمل!
