From Hassan Ansari's telegram channel (translation is mine) - I thought it was interesting:

Agha Muhaqqiq Damad has not realized that books that were written on the topic of Usul al-Fiqh did not mean that the author was a Faqih (jurist). During the time of Soharwardi, writing books on Usul was part and parcel of the scholarly activities of people of theology and philosophy (Ahl-e Kalam wa Falsafeh), and in fact books on logic, Ilahiyyat, Usul and Jadal were generally written in tandem.

He is critiquing Agha Damad's speech over here [[http://www.cgie.org.ir/fa/news/130316],](http://www.cgie.org.ir/fa/news/130316],) who claims Soharwardi was a jurist, by referring to his book التنقیح فیالاصول الفقه
If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed.
On May 17, 2014, Admiral William H. McRaven addressed the graduating class of the University of Texas at Austin on their Commencement day. Taking inspiration from the university's slogan, "What starts here changes the world," he shared the ten principles he learned during Navy Seal training that helped him overcome challenges not only in his training and long Naval career, but also throughout his life; and he explained how anyone can use these basic lessons to change themselves-and the world-for the better.
Admiral McRaven's original speech went viral with over 10 million views. Building on the core tenets laid out in his speech, McRaven now recounts tales from his own life and from those of people he encountered during his military service who dealt with hardship and made tough decisions with determination, compassion, honor, and courage. Told with great humility and optimism, this timeless book provides simple wisdom, practical advice, and words of encouragement that will inspire readers to achieve more, even in life's darkest moments.

Imam Hussain to his companions on the night of Ashura: "Whoever amongst you has the rights of people on his neck should leave this place now because becoming martyred on the plains of Karbala will not excuse you from the burden of people's rights on your neck".
Shaheed Dr. Mostafa Chamran: I am therefore amazed at those who commit thousands of sin and snatch the rights of people, yet are certain that one tear of love for Imam Husain is their assurance to paradise.

How to grow and develop, according to master of believers Imam Ali (عليه الصلاة والسلام)
Translated by: Manal Samhat
By Religious Authority, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Husain Fadlullah (رضوان الله تعالي عليه)
Imam Ali (a.s.) has talked a lot about fanaticism and its destructive impacts on individuals and groups alike, and he mentioned many things that are capable of immunizing people against this repugnant immoral disease and attaching them to the human values, which, if they abide to, will make them ascend, progress, grow and open up to the positions of strength in the world.
The role of cognitive experience
As we go through this issue, we notice that Imam Ali (a.s.) calls on us to study the history of the nations in all their points of weakness and strength determined according to their negative experiences that were harmful to their situations or the positive experiences that elevated their level. The Imam (a.s.) actually wants the people to study the thought, any thought, in its theoretical and practical framework and to examine its influences on the ground, when experienced, for experience, scientifically speaking, proves what the thought truly is. A negative experience of a negative thought will prove that if such a thought is applied in reality, it will lead to negative results in man’s life, while a positive experience that is based on a positive thought will definitely prove how realistic this thought is and confirm its positive effects on man’s life.
And we know that cognition and knowledge in Islam are based on two aspects:
1- The aspect of contemplation, that is when an idea is brought up and man tries to use his mind to contemplate its elements and determine how realistic it can be, and this is the approach of the philosophers throughout history.
2- The aspect of experience, whereby Islam came to base knowledge on experience. It is narrated that Imam Ali (a.s.) said: “Experience is a created mind”.
Experience, through its dynamism and extensions, represents the mental knowledge practiced on the ground, and it is narrated in a Hadith by Imam Ali (a.s.), in which he calls on people to benefit from experience, that he said: “The best of what you experienced is what gives you advice”.
Experience extends on two lines:
The first line is the experience you acquire from your personal practices, for you go through bitterness and sweetness, repulsiveness and pleasantness and goodness and evilness to unravel from within these traits the good and bad elements they entail, which determines the nature of what you went through whether positively or negatively.
The second line is the others’ experiences, whereby history, throughout time, shows you the experiences of others in the private and public lives. On the one hand, there are those who confronted the prophets, rebelled against them, stood against their movement in society and stirred conflicts, disagreements and seditions that are based on negative values, spearheaded by fanaticism. On the other hand, there are those who sided with them and demonstrated unity, amiability, harmony, accord and integration, values that if any nation upholds will be undertaking the line that leads to goodness and peace and lays the foundation for civilization, which could lead to development in knowledge and science and progress in the movement of openness, awareness and so on.
Lessons from past experiences
We know this from the Quranic revelation that talked about stories from the past about people who opposed the prophets and persecuted them and others who believed in them and helped them, whereby Allah mentioned the bad and good results of each action. This is evident in Allah’s saying: “In their histories there is certainly a lesson for men of understanding” (12:111), and the lesson here stands for the knowledge man acquires from experience after studying its nature and results.

The adhan for the noon prayers was recited, and the congregational (jama'ah) prayers were led by the Prophet. After that, the Prophet ascended the pulpit and signaled to' Ali ibn Abu Talib to stand on his right. ' Ali did so, standing one pulpit step below the Prophet. Before saying anything, the Prophet looked right and left to make sure that people were prepared to listen to every word of his.
The sun was so hot that people had to pull some of their outer mantles over their heads and under their feet in order to be able to somehow tolerate the heat.
Finally the Prophet delivered his historic sermon which he intended, as the reader will see, to be not only for the assembled crowd but for all those who were not present at that gathering and for all their offspring, one generation after another, till the Day of Judgment.
Here is the text of the Prophet's sermon. We hope it will bring the reader guidance in the life of this world and happiness and success in the life to come through the intercession of Muhammad, the one loved most by Allah, peace and blessings of the Almighty be with him, his progeny, and true companions who obeyed him during his lifetime and after his demise and who did not forget or pretend to forget his following khutba:

PROPHET'S HISTORIC GHADIR SERMON
PART Vlll
The Prophet continued his historic sermon thus: O people! I am calling for it to be an Imamate and a succession confined to my offspring till the Day of Judgment, and I have conveyed only what I have been commanded (by my Lord) to convey to drive the argument home against everyone present or absent and on everyone who has witnessed or who has not, who is already born or he is yet to be born; therefore, let those present here convey it to those who are absent, and let the father convey it to his son, and so on till the Day of Judgment.
And they shall make the Imamate after me a property, a usurpation; may Allah curse the usurpers who usurp1, and it is then that you, O jinns and mankind, will get the full attention of the One Who shall cause a flame of fire and brass to be hurled upon you, and you shall not achieve any victory!
O people! Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime, is not to let you be whatever you want to be except so that He may distinguish the bad ones from among you from the good, and Allah is not to make you acquainted with the unknown.
O people! There shall be no town that falsifies except that Allah shall annihilate it on account of its falsehood before the Day of Judgment, and He shall give al-lmam al-Mehdi (U authority over it, and surely Allah's promise is true.
1 This is surely a Prophetic prediction that' Ali's right to the caliphate would be usurped. The usurpers were the very first to swear the oath of allegiance to Ameerul-Mo'mineen ' Ali and the very first to violate it.
O people! Most of the early generations before you have strayed, and by Allah, He surely annihilated the early generations, and He shall annihilate the later ones. Allah Almighty has said, "Did We not destroy the former generations? Then did We follow them up with later ones. Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. Woe on that Day to the rejecters!" (Qur'an, 77: 16-19).
O people! Allah has ordered me to do and not to do, and I have ordered 'Ali to do and not to do, so he learned what should be done and what should not; therefore. you should listen to his orders so that you may be safe, and you should obey him so that you may be rightly guided. Do not do what he forbids you from doing so that you may acquire wisdom. Agree with him, and do not let your paths be different from his.
O people! I am al-Sirat al-Mustaqeem (the Straight Path) of Allah whom He commanded you to follow, and it is after me 'Ali then my offspring from his loins, the Imams of Guidance: they guide to the truth and act accordingly.
Then the Prophet recited the entire text of Surat al-Fatiha and commented by saying: It is in my honor that this (Sura) was revealed, including them (the Imams) specifically; they are the friends of Allah for whom there shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve; truly the Party of Allah are the winners. Indeed, it is their enemies who are the impudent ones, the deviators, the brethren of Satan; they inspire each other with embellished speech out of their haughtiness.

How did pious medieval Muslims experience health and disease? Rooted in the prophet’s experiences with medicine and healing, Muslim pietistic literature developed cosmologies in which physical suffering and medical interventions interacted with religious obligations and spiritual health. This book traces the development of prophetic medical literature and religious writings around health and disease to give a new perspective on how patienthood was conditioned by the intersection of medicine and Islam.
The author investigates the early and foundational writings on prophetic medicine and related pietistic writings on health and disease produced during the Islamic Classical Age. Looking at attitudes from and towards clerics, physicians and patients, sickness and health are gradually revealed as a social, gendered, religious, and cultural experience. Patients are shown to experience certain sensoria that are conditioned not only by medical knowledge, but also by religious and pietistic attitudes.
This is a fascinating insight into the development of Muslim pieties and the traditions of medical practice. It will be of great interest to scholars interested in Islamic Studies, history of religion, history of medicine, science and religion and the history of embodied religious practice, particularly in matters of health and medicine.

💠The Remembrance of Death: a Scientific and Psychological Perspective:
🔺In one of the most used texts in the study of Emerging Adulthood, it has been stated:
📍 “The Terror management theory also proposes that when people’s thought of death are activated, either consciously or unconsciously, they can experience a wide range of beneficial effects.
📍They may adopt better health habits, be more focused on intrinsic rather extrinsic goals, show more compassion, and be more motivated to have more close interpersonal relationships. People may even be more creative, less likely to hold stereotypes, and feel greater attachment to their community.
📍The recognition that your life is finite may stimulate you, no matter what your age, to focus on what is really important and adopt a broader perspective in your beliefs, attitudes and values (Vail et al., 2012)”.

"Rise, then, and go; you are free" is the famous answer by Messenger of Allah (p.) to the people of Mecca when they asked him what would he do with them. This answer reflects the great mercy and compassion the Messenger (p.) enjoyed and wanted us to acquire. In this video, His Eminence, the late Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah (ra) talks about this event and calls on all Muslims to model after the Messenger who came with a peaceful mission being a preacher and a prophet, and not to kill people".

✳️ The Muslim 500: The World’s 500 Most Influential Muslims, 2021
🔸This publication sets out to ascertain the influence some Muslims have on this community, or on behalf of the community. Influence is: any person who has the power (be it cultural, ideological, financial, political or otherwise) to make a change that will have a significant impact on the Muslim world or Muslims. Note that the impact can be either positive or negative, depending on one's point of view of course. The influence can be of a religious scholar directly addressing Muslims and influencing their beliefs, ideas and behaviour, or it can be of a ruler shaping the socio-economic factors within which people live their lives, or of artists shaping popular culture.

Modaber is the latest product by traditional medicine experts and researchers in Iran. It was specifically formulated to treat the corona virus and its success in doing so has taken many by surprise! The formula has been trearing patients perfectly, which has lead to a wealth of positive feedback (this can be viewed on the following Instagram page).
From an Islamic medicine perspective we had recommended Immunity medicine, Jame pill, Hijamah and other methods to treat the corona virus. However, this syrup focuses on detoxification and quick disinfection of the body. Numerous people with covid symptoms have been cured using only one bottle!
Given that, besides educating people about islamic medicine and lifestyle, our objective has been to make Islamic and natural health products available to everyone, we are currently offering this syrup as our latest product to help people who may be suffering from the corona virus.

📝Excerpt: “Research has long pointed to the mental and physical health benefits of spending time outdoors. A 2019 study concluded that those who spent between 120 minutes or more outside per week reported positive effects on their general health and well-being when compared to those who didn't get outside at all.
Doctors have been catching on; more and more providers have been instructing their patients to turn to nature to improve their health and they're getting creative in how they do it.”
