"The third factor is of a particular nature. The two factors that we have discussed above, that is, the hostile ends of the enemies and the human tendency for conjuring legends and myths, apply to all histories of the world, but there is also a factor which is specific to the event of Ashura' that has led to fabrication of stories.
The leaders of the faith, from the time of the Noble Messenger and the Pure Imams, have commanded in clear and emphatic terms that the memory of Husayn ibn 'Ali must be kept alive and that his martyrdom and ordeals should be commemorated every year. Why? What is the reason underlying this Islamic ordinance? Why is there so much encouragement for and emphasis on visiting the shrine of Husayn ibn 'Ali? We should reflect over these questions.
Some might say that it is for the sake of condoling with Hadrat Zahra' and offering her consolation! But is it not ridiculous to imagine that Hadrat Zahra' should still need consolation after fourteen hundred years, whereas, in accordance with the explicit statements of Imam Husayn and according to our creed, since his martyrdom Imam Husayn and Hadrat Zahra have been together in heaven? What a thing to say!
Imam Husayn (a) established the practical ideology of Islam and he is the practical model for Islamic movements. They (that is the Prophet and Imams) wanted Imam Husayn's ideology to be kept alive". (To be continued).

When considering the advantages and benefits of having an absent Imam, two points must be taken into consideration:
First: We must consider the case of the Imamate which lives with the people and is directly connected with their lives, for an Imam is charged with propagating the Message of the Prophet of Allah (p.) and providing the people with all the knowledge they needed regarding the Islamic law and doctrine; a mission undertaken by all the Imams starting by Imam Ali (a.s.) and ending by Imam Al-Askari (a.s.).
They have nourished the people with all fields of knowledge that they did not need to resort to anyone else. It has been related that during the minor occultation of Imam Al-Mahdi (aj.), the Shiites used to communicate with the Imam via letters sent by his four deputies.
As for the major occultation, when people resorted to him in problems that could not be easily resolved, he told them: “As to the occurring events, refer to the narrators of our Hadiths, they are my argument against you, and I am the argument of Allah.”
Reports related by narrators, including Hadiths by the Prophet (p.) and the Imams (a.s.), have covered all subjects that people encountered in their daily lives and with regard to religion. Actually, all topics were attended to, leaving no gaps behind. It has been narrated that: “Scholars are the heirs of the prophets,” since the latter have left behind a heritage of knowledge rather than materialistic possession. It is narrated that the Prophet (p.) said: “Scholars are the ones entrusted by the prophets until they indulge in the worldly pleasures.” The Prophet (p.) was then asked: “What are worldly pleasures?”
He answered: “Following an unjust ruler to attain money. Such scholars who support an unjust ruler would wage war one day and call for peace in another, according to their own benefits; thus, you should protect your religion against them.”
Accordingly, we must get to know whether a scholar has more love and loyalty to Allah or he indulges in this world.
The second stage was as follows: All the Imams dedicated their time to enlighten the people and provide them with all the information they needed about the message.
However, Imam Al-Mahdi (aj.) is assigned with a different mission; that is, to rule the world on the basis of justice and uprightness and to propagate the Message of Islam all around the world. In addition, certain Hadiths mention how Jesus Christ (p.) will reappear with Imam Al-Mahdi (aj.), pledge alliance to him and open up to Islam.
Prophet Muhammad (p.) was able to deliver the Message of Islam in a certain region, and [the Message kept on propagating until] eventually the Muslims, around the world, reached around a billion and several millions. However, after the reappearance of the Imam (aj), Islam will end up in reining the world.
Establishing justice: The Message’s objective
The second point to consider is establishing justice on Earth, which is the objective of the Imam’s message: “And when you speak, then be just though it be your relative,” (06:152), “O you who believe! Be maintainers of justice, bearers of witness of Allah’s sake, thought it may be against yourselves or your parents to near relatives, if he be rich or poor.” (04:135). Since the Imam’s (aj.) objective is to rule justly, then his followers must adhere to the same concept. Those who wish to be among the Imam’s soldiers must never treat their wives, children, neighbors, and employees unjustly, since the followers of the Imam are warriors for the sake of justice and righteousness.
While we are awaiting the reappearance of Imam Al-Mahdi (aj.), we must prepare ourselves to be qualified adherers, followers, and supporters. We must note that being unjust sets us further away from the path of righteousness.

Ruling should be in favor of the people as a whole.
💠The way most coveted by you should be that which is the most equitable for what is right, the most universal by way of justice and the
💠most comprehensive with regard to the agreement with those under you because the disagreement among the common people sweeps away the arguments of the chiefs and can be disregarded when compared with the agreement of the common people.💠
💠No one among those under you is more burdensome to the ruler in the comfort of life, less helpful in distress, more disliking of equitable treatment, more tricky in asking favors, less thankful at the time of giving, less appreciative of reasons at the time of refusal and weaker in endurance at the time of the discomforts of life than the chiefs.💠
💠It is the common people of the community who are the pillars of the religion, the power of the Muslims and the defense against the enemies. Your learning should, therefore, be towards them and your inclination with them.💠
💠The one among the people under you who is furthest from you and the worst of them in your view should be whoever is the most
💠inquisitive of the shortcomings of the people because people do have shortcomings and the ruler is the most appropriate person to cover them.💠
💠Do not disclose whatever of it is hidden from you because your obligation is to correct what is manifest to you, while Allah will deal with whatever is hidden from you.💠
💠Therefore, cover shortcomings as far as you can; Allah will cover those of your shortcomings which you will like to remain under cover from your subjects. Unfasten every knot of hatred in the people and cut away from yourself the cause of every enmity.💠
💠Feign ignorance from what is not clear to you. Do not hasten to second a backbiter because a backbiter is a cheat although he looks like those who wish well.💠
💠💠@AbodeofWisdom💠💠“Whosoever spends his mornings an a state of sincere devotion for forty days than the spring of wisdom will flow from his heart into his tongue”
To perform a fortieth is not particular to this month (of dhi’qadah), however the issue of fortieth coincides with in an important event that unfolded for prophet Musa (a) and he had a special presence during these days. Hence the scholars (ulama) pay more attention for these day and also for the month of Rajab, Sha’ban and Ramadan for those who are of self purification and spirituality.
Mirza Jawad Agha Malik Tabrizi (r) in his noble book al muraqabaat mentions that the first benefit that we can achieve from this special month of haram is that we must not go against the Will of God. Our nafs which naturally desires to go against God’s Will must be fought and in the like manner how fighting/war is haram in this month with kuffar, we must stop fighting God by going against His desires.
🎯 Our Responsibilities in this Fortieth (1st of Dhi’qadah to 10th of Dhill’hijjah)
⚓ First and foremost in this fortieth is that one must focus on sincerity (ikhlas) and sincerity in action (ikhlas in Amal) and fulfilment of obligatory acts ( anjam e wajibaat) and abandoning prohibited acts (tark al Maharim)
⌛ Watchfulness (muhasibah) of the soul (nafs)
👉🏽 what is of value and importance in the forty days is
# one must check / test oneself that ‘am I really performing the obligatory acts and avoiding the prohibited acts or not?’
🔵 certainly the scholars of the path do tend to encourage and provide with certain recommended actions to be carried out which are beneficial for the spirit and soul in order to refine the soul. They also make them aware of corrupt characters (radha’il) and one must look into this in depth
🔷 these 40 days provides an opportunity for one to avoid and tame these corrupt & evil (radha’il) characters such as jealousy, arrogance and many more ......
◼ another issue is being away from sins and from those who commit them (the ahl ma’siyah)
Some tend to miss-use this issue of fortieth, for instance the sufies and promote that one must stay home in some corner and carry out certain practices and avoid all social activities. This kind of approach is not encouraging or not seen in the Islamic Shari’ya. If I don’t engage in the society then I will not have a presence in public and I will not be able to find out how much am I really obliged and dedicated to the shari’ya
🔶what is of value for the pure shari’ya is the God consciousness (taqwa), faith (iman), our actions in-line with the commands of the shari’ya. The first and foremost is fulfilment of wajid(obligatory acts) and leaving haram ( prohibited acts), as the masters of the path have mentioned that even one sin throw him off or he will be tossed.

1. To sit a fortieth with the above points are very effective, however one must see in the fortieth what is our takleef (responsibility)
2. One must focus with whom are we in touch with and who is giving a priscribtion (dastoor ‘amal) that is beyond the shari’yah
🏽 another advice of this month is the prayers of tawba which we got it from the Prophet of Islam. This is to be perform on a Sunday, however it can also be perform in other months and days as well. Hence the recommendation side of it is not limited to this month or a Sunday

🌲 What is the difference between a prophet and a genius (nābighah)?
✅ Allamah Tabatabāī: God says:
Humankind were a single community , then Allah sent the prophets as bearers of good news and as warners, and He sent down with them the book with the truth...(2-213).
This verse suggests that prophets convey a scripture with the truth to humankind. Nonetheless the prophets were also very intelligent, but defining them as geniuses is an error.

The Three Distinguishing
Characteristics of the Qur'an

Our study of the Qur'an acquaints us with three distinguishing characteristics of this Godly book.
💢 The first 💢
Distinguishing characteristic is the absolute authenticity of its source. That is, without the slightest need of any comparison between the oldest manuscripts, it is evident that what we recite as the verses of the Qur'an, are exactly the same words presented before the world by Muhammad ibn 'Abd-Allah (peace be with him and his progeny).
💢 The second 💢
Characteristic feature of the Qur'an is the quality of its contents: its teachings are genuinely original and have not been adopted or plagiarized. It is the duty of an analytical study to prove this fact.
💢 The third 💢
Characteristic of the Qur'an is its Divine identity: its teachings have been delivered to the Prophet from a world that transcends his thought and mind. The Prophet (peace be with him and his progeny) was only a recipient of this revelation and message.
This is the result that we obtain from the study of the sources and roots of the Qur'an.
But the study of the sources of the Qur'an, and confirmation of its originality, depend upon the analytical study. So I resolve to open this discussion with the analytical study of the Qur'an.
We shall first see what is the subject matter of the Qur'an, what kind of problems are discussed in it, what type of problems have been given priority, and in what manner those subjects are presented in it.
If we are successful in our critical analysis, and acquire a sufficient understanding of the Qur'anic teachings, it will bring us to an acknowledgment of its principal aspect, which is the Divine aspect of the Qur'an, the quality of its being a Divine miracle.
